    • break fast was exception. Rooms were neat and clean, also had air purifiers too.
    • Overall, our stay was great! Can't comment on food as we didn't eat there but everything else 10/10. We especially liked the convenience of the location right in the city centre, the ice- machine and the staff. So friendly and helpful esp for a group that couldn't really speak Japanese.
    • The location was good and quiet at night. The room was decent sized and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good.

    Cons -

    • paid parking
    • We were a group of six cyclists on a cycling tour of Japan and were made to feel unwelcome at check-in. I have been leading a group of cyclists to the Tohoku area for 3 years and have stayed at this hotel for each of the past 3 years. Last year, we were able to leave our road bicycles in the lobby where they were not in the way of the movement of guests and we knew they were in a safe and secure area. This year, we were informed by the hotel staff that we could not keep our bicycles in the lobby and was initially shown an area outside that was not under cover. We were made to feel unwelcome with our bicycles at a time when cycling tourism should be promoted as an environmentally safe, enjoyable and healthy way to travel in Japan. After my polite protest that the initial location to store our bicycles was not suitable, the hotel staff member relented and allowed us to park our bicycle in the staff bicycle parking area on the understanding that this was a special and one time concession to our request. As hotel guests, I would have thought that we would have been treated better and made to feel more welcome as cycling tourists. I note that other hotels that we stay at on the cycling tour either allow us to bring our bicycles into our room or provide a safe and secure area for storing our bicycles. For next year's tour, I have chosen to stay at another hotel in Fukushima.
    • I have nothing to complain. I would give the perfect grade 10 if the wall paper at the sink in my room was not peeling off

My group is very happy with our stay at Sankyo Fukushima. The room. Is pretty large and clean. The breakfast is awesome with many dishes, including fresh salad, bakeries and fruits.

staff helped us a lot, including booking our next stay.great location - at the city center.can do laundry there.great value for money.note: the double bet is a bit small, but that didn't bother us.also, their parking is a paid one..

    Friendly and polite staff.

I always enjoy the mountain view from the room. Recently, city installed solar panels on the mountain slope which detract from the landscape. Ugly view.

The staff is too nice and it has great buffet both western and Japanese style breakfast with quite lots of options , the room was great

The only thing that disappointed me is un flushed toilet , this is first time i am coming across with such a case in Japan , I understand maybe just the cleaning person forgot it, therefore i kindly ask to be more attentive so that such things won’t happen in future with other customers

There is honestly nothing to dislike about the hotel. The room was huge. The price exceptionally low. The staff friendly even for Japanese standards. The facilities easy to find and honestly an amazing stay.

The only fault one could give them was some spots were a little dusty but really not bad.

    8ZyrelynPosted on: 6-13-2025

It’s in the city center therefore accessible. Beds are comfortable, breakfast is great! :) everything is clean. I loved their toiletries, its POLA products, :)

A nice, modern hotel located within walking distance of the main station. The weekend I was there, there was also a Beer Fest, complete with food booths, going on a few blocks away.

The self-checkin machine didn't seem able to work with a Western name, but the front desk staff were able to help me in a fine manner.

    8PATWARYPosted on: 6-8-2025

Location and convenience store just beside the hotel.

They didn’t let me know about parking closing time at 10pm. I had to face hassle to looking for another parking around the hotel.

Staff were kind, facility was clean, Lawson’s was next door and many restaurants close by.

    9LumengPosted on: 5-3-2025

The breakfast spread was impressive, location was good to get to main station

Rooms felt a little outdated, and bathroom was small

    9ChainPosted on: 4-25-2025

Clean and relatively spacious room, able to fit 3 luggages no issue Toilet was clean as well Location is decent, just a short walk from the station Right outside the hotel lobby is a Lawsons for convenient and easy supper/breakfast runs Check in/out was quick and easy

Water cooler machine is only open from 2-9pm :(

Friendly staff, cost effective, great brekkie and great location.

I stayed here to visit Hanamiyama Park. The hotel is located on a straight walk down the street from Fukushima station. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the lobby inside is quite fancy. The services are pretty standard for Japan, all the usual stuff is provided. I liked that the breakfast had some local specialties from Fukushima, and it was quite filling.

    9manunyaPosted on: 4-16-2025

There is parking for high car opposite hotel with cheap extra charge.Dislike welcome drink at lobby area is not open all day .

    9GaryPosted on: 3-31-2025

Good selection of both Japanese and Western choices.

Some pastries might have been nice. There were four bread selections, but I only ate the croissants, which heated in the toaster ovens were wonderful. We were driving a Honda Freed, which is too tall for the hotel's elevator parking. We had to pay for the parking across the street, but the hotel does sell vouchers that reduce the overnight parking cost. (reduced to 500 yen if entry is after 7:00 pm or 1000 yen if entry from 3:00 pm)

Fancy hotel for the price of a hostel in Tokyo. There are slippers, toiletries, and towels. The area around the train station is nice and a long walk to Hanamiyama Park.Breakfast is a buffet and would highly recommend.
