Avadale Thekkady - Stag Groups Not Allowed

I can vouch this place to any one of my family members and friends, that's the level of hospitality we received. Breakfast was good. We reached late in the morning after elephant camp visit and the manager was courteous to arrange us delicious sandwiches.

Could provide some facility to dry out clothes. I definitely dint have any other comments here.

Avadale stay is awesome, I like property view and spices. Clean and helpful staffs. I love it. Recommend for stay

Everything is average about this Hotel. Old property , old towels and old blankets.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. Lovely clean rooms, beds were really comfortable and food was great.

Dinner timings could have been earlier but apart from that we were very happy with out stay!

My room was big, with a small balcony door that I could have open.It's a bit old, but comfortable enough.The shower was good. It's run with solar, so I know they may have issues with the hot water at times.Nice breakfast omelette made to order.There are two rooftop areas above the reception and restaurant. It was a nice place to sit in the early evening.Located at the outskirts, which makes it a quiet location.

Big room, dining room uninspiring but food tasty.

Attention to detail lacking. Room we stayed in was not as clean as it should have been - pillows “undressed on arrival” ( no pillow cases) and one had a visible mouldy appearance and smell. Hotel replaced both straightaway without hesitation. Basin too had not been cleaned properly, black dye stains perhaps all over it. But after our room was made up following day, all was good - as it should have been to begin with. Hot water very idiosyncratic - but hotel happy to help get it happening.

This hotel really feels like a resort, wooden balconies and lots of lovely trees and plants around. Feels close to nature and relaxing!The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Our booking included breakfast and dinner, and both were delicious (mostly Indian options). The staff was always kind and the hosting was great. We were especially happy to find the hotel has a RO device for guests use as well :)

Distance from Thekkady center.

The rooms were clean and well maintained. Staffs were polite and we had a good family time. Resort only allows families and stags are not allowed. Food in the restaurant was very yummy and tasty as well. I recommend this resort for a good family vacation in kumily/thekkady

The property has been beautifully designed. Rooms are airy and comfortable and the staff is kind.

Food options are limited. The person at the front desk, Mohsin, helped us a lot on our last night. But there was this other person in the day who was absolutely uncooperative. Any request made to him was met with disinterest. I feel the property needs to work on being warm and hospitable.

The room was very clean and spacious. The restaurant served really good food. The stay ambience is very peaceful and calm. Wiill definitely come back here when we visit again.

The food is so tasty, and its staff provided exceptional hospitality, ensuring a memorable experience. Staff attention to detail and dedication to guest comfort created an atmosphere reminiscent of a mini-resort, offering a serene and relaxing ambience. Mr. Kunthal and Mr. Wilson exemplified outstanding hosting, making the stay enjoyable and seamless.

They should have worked a bit better on the interior of the Rooms.

The location was good. The staff were very cordial. They attended everything quickly.

Location is great. Walking distance to restaurants, little shops… the guys at the reception have Tuktuk contacts to come and pick you up for longer distances and they are in general very helpful. Food is amazing! We would say the best we had while in Kerala. While we were there, we were the only foreigners, the rest people staying were Indian, so it also made it feel more special.

Cleanliness was not great. The towels were dirty and the closest too. We asked for the towels to be changed but the new ones were dirty too. Thankfully we had our own which we needed up using instead ?

I have been looking good quite location with the beautiful ambiance that property fulfilled my requirement I want to add the point hotel resturent food is very nice , they can also help the guest in arranging the tourist activities near to the hotel, the nature and hotel accomodation will make you more comfortable and it's safe secure and beautiful place to visit. Must recommend to have a great stay there.
