Service, friendly, attentive, efficient staff. Good food, well presented.

It was a bit remote to any nearby shops or restaurants.

The cleanness of the hotel and our suite. We chose to stay in the suite with balcony and hot spring in bathroom. Staff was great, Michael at the front desk was my favorite. He had lived in California for a few decades, so needless to say his spoken English was perfect. We had a rental car and were allowed to park in secure garage downstairs. Easy elevator lift up to our floor from parking garage. They had security guard watching cars come in and out. Very safe, but Taiwan is generally very safe. We didn't use the play area for younger children, but they had the whole floor with cars/racetrack/campground with snacks, drinks and sitting area for parents. It would be very accessible by MRT, as well. Hongshuling, or Red Tree Forest MRT station would not be far at all. 5-10min ride with taxi. Pictures are accurate. They also have a smaller, local MRT line just for Tamsui district. Transfer at Hongshuling MRT station. It takes your all around Tamsui and ends at Fisherman's Wharf.

Parking spaces during the weekend got a little hectic, but staff help us find a spot. A little out of Taipei Metro, but not much ~10-15 km or 6 to 10 miles, pending on where your going, but with traffic can take anywhere between 1/2 hr to 1hr. Not bad really, just plan ahead and should be great.

The staff were truly exceptional. Very kind and attentive.

The restaurant isn’t open for breakfast. If you did not purchase the breakfast room service there was nothing on site for a light breakfast.

The nice big rooms, Onsen, and lobby all very well designed. Very quiet and clean and nice balcony for fresh air. Onsen was quiet and calming with very little traffic. Convenient to MRT but not a lot of food options nearby without a 20 minute walk.

No gym or workout facility. No laundry facility

Location. Not near much

The rooms and facilities were clean and excellent.. the staff was very kind and helpful. The in-room hot spring was an additional benefit and the open-air lobby was very relaxing and nicely designed for small gatherings and visitors. Close 5 minute walk to Light Rail and buses that takes you to the Hongsuling and Tamsui MRT. 10 minute walk to PX Mart. The neighborhood is very quiet until you get to the main streets where all the transit stops are located. Walking/Biking trail within 10 minutes walk. YouBike station within 5 minutes walk. Nice views of the Tamsui River from upper floor balcony. Staff was very Covid conscientious and had good policies of leaving amenities at the door when needed. Nespresso pods and plenty of bottled water provided daily.

For the nightly rate, I would expect a gym or some workout facility. It was geared more for families. I would suggest even a quiet yoga/meditation studio with some yoga mats, straps, blankets and maybe light weights. There’s a lot of room dedicated to children play. There should be a space for adult wellness and fitness other than the hot spring. It should be away from the children’s area for serenity and relaxation. Lacking in English translated brochures for foreign travelers. The points of interest around the area was only offered in Chinese. With a kitchen, I'd expect to have some utensils, pots, cutlery, and dinnerware already available. If you ask, they will provide limited options of kitchen tools. 50-60 minutes to Xinyi and 101 shopping district. Traffic by car/taxi is slow with the one route in and out of Tamsui. Around 2 hours to Taoyuan by either car with traffic or MRT

It was clean and the concierge was extremely helpful.

The hotel is a condominium building inside a complex of other condominium buildings. It is not at all a relaxing ambience and not set in a lush natural environment as pictured. The view is not as expected as they’re literally surrounded by other tall condominium buildings.

The described facility is larger unavailable- public hot spring closed, kids play area closed, there’s contact noise during the day . Food from restaurant downstairs needs major improvement

Excellent breakfast, comfy bed and the hot spring was awesome.

Wait time is long for reps to come pick up dishes from room service after a call is made. Front desk chaotic during check in when there are people waiting.

We were impressed by the room we stayed in. It is spatious, with a living room, a mini kitchen and fridge, and a tatami room for our kid. The atmosphere of the room is very inviting. The bathroom is also spatious with a huge hotsrping tub (expected) and a very interesting shower facility- with mutiple shower head/arm and a built in chair to sit. The in-room breakfast service is impressive too, only we've got too much food we could eat.

The facilities are not opened yet due to COVID-19 situation. It's at the pricy side-considering the whole hotel is not back to its full function. We'd like to visit this place when the facilities are back to normal. There is nothing we strongly dislike about the room, except for the bed- it is the very opposite of a soft bed, which is not what we are used to. One thing we'd like to improve would be the choice of Nespresso capsule- we'd like to have something not as dark as the ones provided to us.
