Thapwarin Resort - Green Hotel

This hotel is a true paradise, especially after the crowded and noisy atmosphere of Krabi. The location is exceptional — a quiet island, perfect for escaping the crowds, with a beautiful, clean beach and stunning crystal-clear water. There are very few noisy boats, which makes the experience even more peaceful.The resort itself feels calm and welcoming, and everyone is genuinely friendly and smiling. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious and beautifully presented dishes. I especially appreciated the pasta, pizza, and international cuisine options as well. The served breakfasts, complemented by a buffet, were excellent and had everything we could wish for.I also highly value the hotel’s eco-friendly approach — no single-use plastics or artificial straws, which is wonderful to see. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow, and the view was absolutely breathtaking.After busy and overcrowded Krabi, we truly found our paradise here. ?✨

The lady who ran the bar / restaurant was very friendly and helpful and proactive in ensuring service standards. They also have good , unlimited, PROPER fresh brewed coffee and the food was very good. The view from the deck at this restaurant was amazingly good, like world class and sitting there for hours is so tempting. Rooms are luxurious and big bathrooms. Very comfortable. Food was excellent at all mealtimes. As a seasoned traveller this may be the best beach I have stayed on and I include Kradan in this.

The young lady on reception had an unfortunate attitude and any interaction with her seemed like an intrusion. I told her my hiking boots had gone missing from the front porch and she just stared at me with no response, so I said forget it, which was an acceptable conclusion to the problem for her, somehow. They could also do with a few more loungers and replace the cheap ones which tend to collapse.

Be careful , when you book this Hotel, what they withdraw from your bank account. We had a very bad experience, even the management was not helpful at all and it took five weeks to get our money back. Besides the amenities (bathroom) are not in a good condition. There are bugs and water coming in, when rain and our sink was totally loose. There is certainly better bargain on this beautiful island.

Hotel is amazing, you are in the middle of the nature and the facilities are very comfortable. The beach and sea is perfect for swimming and snorkel. Breakfast was excellent! Restaurant of the hotel as well! We enjoyed every meal and price very reasonable. The staff is amazing! They make you feel like at home. Massage spa is also great! My sons and I enjoyed very much the massage sessions !!! A super recommended place if your idea is to relax and enjoy the beach!

We spent 5 nights here and could spend 5 more. We really loved the staff, the ambient and the island as a whole. Couldn’t recommend more Thapwarin, we loved the bungalows and be sure to eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant, the food is great.

Very nice and quiet island and this hotel's location was good for me as I didn't want to be on the busier side of the beach. The room was nice, the food was very good and the staff was friendly, especially one woman in the restaurant.

We had an amazing time at the property. Really nice location, right at the beach with all the comforts you need. Food was excellent, from breakfast to dinner and staff very helpful. Their bungalows are really great for families

The peaceful surroundings of nature, quiet and not over populated with people and resorts. Just tranquility and breathtaking views of the beautiful turquoise waters and green jungles.We love our little beach front bungalow, perfect for our little family of 3 to all stay together with plenty of space.The staff can’t do enough to help, always so friendly with an abundance of smiles and warmth from all of them.

You can't swim at low tide. It's necessary to go abouz 400 meters away. But it's good ??

Staff exceptional , especially ms PAT and her auntie , very talented chef . We also loved Mr Diamond ( suchard) the rooms were nice , a bit old but still cute , and we especially loved the eco friendly touches . Thank you ??

Lots of lights in room, comfortable bed. Large room and bathroom. Clean. Mosquitoes sprayed every night in room if requested. Very few Mosquitoes seen in room. Nice covered porch in the back bungalows. We had room 16,with a nice covered porch.Center bungalows didn't have covered porch. Restaurant Very nice near the beach. Enjoyed their food every night. Excellent breakfast provided. Water out front had quite a few rocks, need water shoes.Snorkeling 200 metres off shore was very good. Water and beach beautiful. Saw hornbills and water monitor on site.

You may be misled by the photos of the resort. Room standard was not as you can see, it’s expensive for the standard you receive. I would expect the staff at the reception desk to communicate in english well, and this is not the case, basic staff ok but couldn’t answer less basic questions.

The hotel is located on an emerald beach next to the jungle, and the bungalows are lovely, well-maintained, and clean. It’s a fantastic getaway into nature, where you can spot colorful fish, crabs, monkeys, and the highlight of our stay—a visit from two hornbills on our roof.

However, there are some downsides. On our first day , the see was full of jellyfish, so swimming was impossible. Unfortunately, the hotel lacks a pool or even enough sunbeds on the beach, leaving no alternatives in such cases. Additionally, at breakfast on the first day, we were told that it only included the mini buffet, which consisted of bread with jam and some fruit. If we wanted to have an omelet or pancakes, we would need to pay extra. However, on the second day, they admitted they had made a mistake. This was unacceptable, especially for such an expensive hotel.Additionally the restaurant and all the lights shut down by 9:30 p.m. There should at least be a space to relax outside the room. Thankfully, there is a wonderful bar nearby that saved our stay. Otherwise, it wouldn't be as enjoyable .

Separate room for toilet and shower is not practical as you have no sink in the toliet so you have to come out and use a separate room to wash your hands.Some interior finish in the bungalow looked basic. Especially in the toilet/shower room with very basic corrugated roof and lots of opening the overall building structure could have been finished better. Deckchairs in the front porch looked too old and too dirty not very inviting to sit on them. Overall bungalow appearance could be improved with some cleaning and repainting of the wooden structure.Dinnertime food from menu was not the best and some dishes were well below other thai food we had in Thailand and tailored towards a more foreign bland taste. If you want good food I suggest you eat at the resort next to it CoCo Bistro Restaurant.Having said that I still recommend this place and the people working there are very kind and helpful so I hope the management takes into account the comments to improve the facilities

The hotel is calm and nice relaxing hotel. We stayed in beach front villa and would really recommend it. The staff was also nice and friendly.
