Very nice hotel in beautiful location, very relaxing

Limited activities but not a problem for a short stay or if relaxation is the main objective

Its private beach. Very clean.

Its quiet far from downtown so it is hard to order food fron gojek

The staff were kind although they need training to cater for visitors above 20 people

This can’t be Sheraton hotel with 5 stars!1- all sun longes were occupied and first day we managed to have one beach bean bag and the following day only mattress on the floor like student camp!2- we informed reception when we checked in that we will go for the high tea and when we arrived at restaurant they said no reservation! 3- no tables to sit for restaurant , every time we want a table it’s booked 4- Shampoo in the room was filled with water !! 5- No duty manager or property manager was present to take up our complaints and check for our needs.I am so disappointed it’s not at all value for money and very low service Really really disappointed

The beach is nice, nature did a good job here.

- Property grounds are ok but the lack of maintenance and landscaping care is noticeable. - Room was just ok clean not really spotless. - Restaurant quality is lower than poor. - From fermented ketchup, to orders that never arrived, the restaurant is a continuos miss, even pizza in pasta bowls seems to be ok here. - On the web they announce 3 restaurants open every day. Fact there is only one with limited menu and even missing items on that already limited menu.

It is very tranquil and beautifully designed. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL. They very so nice and anticipating and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. They especially went above and beyond for our two daughters. Fresh fruit, milk shakes and always smiles and waves.

The menu and food quality was terrible and incredibly expensive. Normally this type of thing can be overcome by just eating at nearby restaurants … but because there is no development nearby you are captive to their prices and terrible food. The staff were nice and acknowledged that the food was an issue and are working to change the menu

Delicious and fresh, with plenty of variety! Loved the fresh pastries and coffee. Can’t beat having the restaurant right on the sand.

The restaurant's service was sometimes great, other times slow. The lunch and dinner options were limited so this was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.

Friendly staff and peaceful environment. Hotel had a set of activities on offer which was a nice touch. Great spa service delivered by Annissa. Restaurant manager Azi was very friendly and attentive with great recommendations across Indonesian.

The property mislead us by advertising “ocean view” rooms, which we paid extra for but upon arrival discovered that all “ocean view rooms” only had a view of trees and the lagoon (see picture of said “ocean view” below). We asked the hotel to refund us the difference but they insisted that it was out of their hands. Beware! Do not fall for the trick and pay extra for “ocean views” because you will not be getting those views, there are trees all over covering the views. Furthermore, the floor in our bedroom had a lot of condensation and became extremely slippery and wet. We discussed with the hotel staff but they did not know how to resolve the issue.

the staff is very friendly, the rooms were clean. the nature and the bee farm is very impressive.

The hotel is very far from the city center. Most of the delivery services dont work there. They dont even have a small market to get something if you need. They only have one restaurant and it is very expensive. Be prepared to add at least2 million rupiah for food every day to your spending :)

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The view is stunning, the location is amazing. The food is very good and elevated. The pool is beautiful. The room was very clean and nice. It’s an incredible peaceful place.

Exceptional, clean and private beach, and lovely team taking good care of their guests. Easy get away from Jakarta.

A perfect beach getaway, only 50 minutes flight from busy Jakarta. The staff goes the extra mile to provide an excellent customer experience. The hotel is beautifully located, in a very calm environment. We did two boat excursions and snorkeling. Kudos to the entire team!

Great staff good facilities overall super location

Beach not equipped to sunbathe and very few places to stay along the swimming pool for so many rooms. They were bugs in the bed and we left covered with blisters.

It was so far one of the worst ever customer experience in a Sheraton like hotel, and I travel for business and personal reasons internationally since over 20 years.Let’s start with the check in. We were welcomed by a lady named Susan. We booked for 3 days a garden view room. For ca 20 minutes she tried to upsell us whatever she could try. A villa, a Laguna view whatever. Her attitude was extremely aggressive not a 5 star experience. She tried also to sell 3 days in advance our taxi to the airport for a price that was 4time what you pay in the inland in a pushy and offensive way even saying that not booking with them would mean to put us at risk ( Belitung is one of the safest island I ever visited )pushing to know our flight number asking : times if she could phone us the next days to book the taxi etc. Embarrassing. Again not a 5 stars hotel. It 30 minutes for check in leaving us astonished about the staff behaviour. We accepted to give a caution of 10M IDR ca 600 euro almost the double of the value of our full stay, Susan told us it will be released at check out.The room is nice but it took 2 visits from a technician to shut down bathroom airco and 2 visits since phone in the room didn’t work.We went to the beach and we found something really different versus the pictures on booking extremely small beach no space for beach chair there are much better beaches in Belitung also the swimming pool was quite sad and due to small beach more people in swimming pool than at the beach. We were also told not going there after 7 pm due to flies .Dinner expensive quite basic and after my dinner at Sheraton I had diarrhoea, never happened in Belitung even when eating in street warung so my conclusion was that the food was not fresh.We shortened our stay to one day only.The morning after around 8.30 am we got a weird call someone speaking Indonesian we found out that was Susan she told us that they have problem with the line …And the fun didn’t finish yet.

Belitung is famous for its outlying islands and beaches. And I would rate the private beach in this resort is the best among the more than 10 beaches I have visited.

Location is quite remote. Make sense as a resort location, but very inconvenient if you didn't rent a bike or car yourself. No Grab or Uber drivers available at all.

THE PRIVATE BEACH, the food (best Gangan soup I’ve ever had), my husband also loves the breakfast—the best one that we have during our Indonesian trip he said, the pool, the STAFFS, the room facing the little lake, the outdoor bathtub

The resort was nearly perfect, and I would have given it 10/10, but decided to go with 7 instead because unfortunately, during 2 out of our 4-night stay, a large group arrived, overwhelming the staff. As a result, smaller groups and couples like us were treated almost as second-class guests. On our third night, the loud music from the group’s event further disrupted our experience, though the hotel did accommodate us by moving us to another room.It’s disappointing that, despite Sheraton’s reputation and the serene, exclusive atmosphere they aim to provide, hosting large events that clash with this ambiance detracts from the experience. The last two nights were particularly uncomfortable, as I felt that I wasn’t getting the peaceful retreat I had paid for.
