    Cons -

    • I stayed at this hotel in Chiayi for two days due to a baseball event, as it was the closest hotel to the stadium. Unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing.First of all, the male receptionist was far from professional and made my family wait unnecessarily in the lobby without any clear reason. When we reached our floor by elevator, we were immediately hit by a strong smell of dampness and animal waste. Since the room had no window that could be opened, the same heavy musty smell was trapped inside the room. The furniture was old, the wall paint was dirty, and there was a noticeable cigarette burns on the bed sheets. The edges of the bed covers were visibly dirty. In addition, the beds were extremely hard, making it very uncomfortable and difficult to get proper rest during our stay. Mosquitoes were another serious issue and kept us awake throughout the night. The bathroom was a complete failure. Water splashed everywhere while showering, and ventilation was almost non-existent. As a result, the bathroom quickly filled with steam, and since the mirror was not heated, it became impossible to see yourself due to condensation. The curtains looked like they hadn’t been washed in at least 20 years, with some parts hanging loosely. The back panel of the wardrobe was broken, and opening the sliding doors required effort. The upper shelf was full of dust and dirt. The dressing table and chair were also poorly cleaned. The air-conditioning and light control panel looked like they were from the 1980s. While they technically worked, the air conditioner had no temperature control—only three fan speed levels—and regardless of the setting, the airflow blew directly onto your face. This hotel cannot even be considered good value for money, as there are much newer and cleaner hotels nearby at more affordable prices.
    • The overwhelming smell of sewage in the room. It was so strong it made it difficult to sleep
    • Floors were dirty, some mosquitoes

Cheap, 15 min bike to the station, water filling stations

    Floors were dirty, some mosquitoes

    Great location and friendly staff!

The rooms are very noisy as they are mostly just dry walled. The hotel in general needs some updating especially in the hallways where all the wallpaper is crumbling off.

    5HéctorPosted on: 12-11-2024

    Nothing in particular.

The pictures do not correspond to the reality. There was a noise ver annoying which impeded to sleep. The bed was uncomfortable.

    8JJPosted on: 11-12-2024

It's very spacious. I especially like the large windows allowing for sufficient sunlight. The room seems to be located at the back of the building, facing a little park so overall the atmosphere is very calm and quiet.

The facilities are definitely older than expected, thought it doesn't affect cleaness.

    Allowed dogs.

Our room’s ac didn’t work quite well. Wasn’t tidy.

Stayed as a family of 4, we got two rooms on 7th floor. The lift up worked well but was dirty. We liked the view from the window (although we would have liked the view the full sized windows). Big sized bed and nice duvet (although small) Price was low

One of our room the plugs were hidden under the bed so we couldnt find how to turn the light off. We pulled the bed out and found the light and the plug was hanging off the wall - unsafe. The location is far from the bus stop/ train stop - this enough should deter any other international travellersThe stairs were so dirty, need to clean! Paint coming off the walls Room not cleaned Not like pictures

Dark and quiet room, in a good location. There's a bakery next to the 711 which is so good!!

Room smelled of damp and mould so we had to buy air freshners. The hotel is quite run down and doesn't look like the photos.

    Disgusting place!!

Worst hotel ever!!! Room is sooo small, dirty, and sooo old. Bathroom is even smaller and dirty. Tub is so stained! No soap available. Location is terrible. Staff is so rude and doesn't even look at your face. Also mosquitoes manage to get inside somehow. Run from this place! The pictures are sooo misleading

    3AndyPosted on: 2-24-2024

    The bed was good

There was a smashed insect on the wall just above the bed pillows. The receptionist clean it after I complaint and she was nice. When we turn on the shower, the water was going out from both outputs, It means a lot of wasted water. The furniture was very outdated.

    8niseyPosted on: 2-13-2024

Affordable. Close to grocery store. Bathtub.

    1DanielPosted on: 12-23-2023

    Staff were nice enough.

Had to leave the main bedroom light on to have power and charge. Not enough power outlets, none near the bed.Took 5+ minutes for the shower to get warm.Directly in front of the window was another building.Photos by hotel are outdated, rooms have deteriorated.

The staff was super helpful and the place is quite near the centre

It was quite a small room and the facilities are a bit old

    7WongPosted on: 10-8-2023

The location is good near on the train station

The bed is dirty they have hair inside of the bedding.

    7TingPosted on: 9-27-2023

The rooms are big and spacious so plenty of room for our family of 4. Beds are quite firm. A.C works fine. The hotel does have its own car park but it is small with limited spaces so we ended up parking elsewhere.

There is no mini fridge in the room only a kettle and tea bags with mugs to use. They do provide fridge in the lobby area for people to use.

In order for you to get hot water, you have to turn on the faucet for at least 10 minutes. The only control for the AC was on and off only. No table one chair, no place for you to put anything on .the only thing that is good is wifi.
