Basically, it's a backpacker's stay. Limited space. Half bath tub without even shower curtain. NO WINDOW (not mentioned when booking)

About 5 minutes walk ~ arrival two famous Department stores, enjoy dining and shopping.This time the hotel provides city view window, and also like the hearty breakfast.

It was located next to the massage that we booked and the breakfast was so good. They had all types of cuisines. Really looked forward to every morning's breakfast. Initially booked this place because I assumed we could walk to the station. But it was quite of a walk, around 15mins. Can't walk to the night market that's for sure. You could leave your luggage at the lobby (at own risk!) while you check out and explore the town.

The room near us started smoking cigarettes and it went into our room. The smell was really bad that we complained to the reception. On and off we can still smell it and found out it was the room opposite ours.

Location was decent, there were shops and a shopping complex with restaurants a bit down the road as well as convenience store across the road. Rooms had everything we need for a stay and breakfast buffet was great and convenient. Bed was nice and firm, we had great sleep that night

Rooms did feel a bit dated but that could likely be due to the yellow lighting. Would be good if the hotel modernized and refurbished the rooms. Layout of some of the rooms was also a bit odd but not a huge issue.

Fuss free stay, staff is friendly and helpful though there might be language barrier when speaking English

Room lighting was dim, lack of clothes hanger in bathroom although it was spacious. Location is relatively far from main train station as the roads and pavement are not as walkable

The breakfast in the morning had many selections and the food was descent.

The AC was weak. The carpets were very dirty and were smelly. The hot water in the shower was just luke warm.

We stayed one night on Alishan and returned to the hotel the next day. The counter staff were friendly and helped to store our luggage overnight. Good variety of food for breakfast

Poor maintainence, dim lighting in corridor and rooms due to not functioning light fixtures.

Traditional Hotel Old Hairdryer, you have to keep push the bottom otherwise hairdryer would turn off. And there are many CHINESES channel.

The room is sooooooo big ,bright and there has a huge window like a french window. Also the hotel where it is located is quiet and convenient. Most importantly it’s cheap and cp value is high quality

There is nothing not to like. The location is fantastic near the city centre. Staff are polite and so helpful! Rooms is extremely clean and new. Bed is comfy and WiFi is extremely strong. Honestly for the price you pay, this is such a fabulous place!!!!
