It was dirty and filthy. There was no sheets,bed was not made. No toiletries including kleenex.

Location within the park itself, walking distance to the train station

The room is quite old. Low ceiling, peeling paint on walls, floor uneven. Some guests smoking in the hallways despite a no-smoking policy. Second hand smoke lingering in the hallways. Hotel staff did not enforce as smoking continued the next day.

Location is great right in the middle of the national forest

The issues we experienced include:• Repeated toilet clogging• Exposed electrical wiring in the ceiling• No functioning heat control (temperature drops after turning heat on)• Insufficient and unsafe electrical outlet availabilityThese problems create both safety and health concerns and make the room uninhabitable.

Could use some sweeping. Non smoking room, but not far from the smoking area and it kept getting in our room under th door. Had to block it.

The location of the hotel is convienient for me to see the sunrise. Bath was ok.

The cleaniness of the room can be better.

The room smelled bad. There was cigarette smoke coming through the vent. The staff was short and not helpful. Overall it was an unpleasant stay.

While the bedding was clean, the rest of the room fell far below expectations. The towels were very old and worn, and the bathroom extractor fan did not work properly. There was no soap provided, and the bathroom was in need of a thorough deep clean. The absence of a shower curtain caused water to spread across the floor, leaving the bathroom wet for the rest of the night. The door knock was also broken, which gave a poor impression of maintenance and care.Furthermore, the entire room décor was extremely dated and in need of refurbishment. It lacked the comfort and upkeep one would expect from a hotel.Service was also unsatisfactory. At breakfast, the receptionist was busy chatting on her mobile phone for around 15 minutes instead of attending to guests. When she eventually walked away, there was no one available to assist, leaving guests unsure of where to go or what to do next. We ended up walking out and went somewhere else for breakfast instead.

Location is quite near to the eateries and train station at Alishan. The room and bed is quite clean overall, and the staffs are quite friendly. Breakfast is provided while staying at this hotel.

Although the room is clean, the walkway might be a bit dirty or moldy due to the environment humidity. The place might look a bit "old" because of its tiles design, otherwise this hotel is quite decent and good to stay in.

Check-in and out was fast, at least some of the staff spoke decent English.

In addition to the complaints that pop up in every other review, the bathtub was 40cm off the ground so someone about 190cm would be hitting the ceiling when taking a shower. The toilet barely flushed and also leaked constantly. There was a 3cm gap between the floor and the door, and light from that gap kept the room from getting dark at night (I used a towel to block it). They gave me a wakeup call at 4am for the sunrise tour without me asking for it. There is no noise insulation, so it is extremely loud until midnight, and then again from 3:30-5am.Anywhere else, this hotel would be 20% its price.

The location was fantastic, and the rooms are beautiful.

It was very noisy at night, the window faces the hallway and you can hear everything that happens in the rooms next door and outside.

The place is clean, breakfast is provided by a nearby restaurant and the taste is ok, have everything I need to stay.

Overpriced, but it is Alishan so I guess everywhere is expensive.

Quite old but good location and the price is cheap.They have wake up call service, hotel staffs can communicate in English.Located in hotel area near visitor center, restaurants, 7-11.

water is leaking from the faucet which make the bathroom floor always wetted.It would be nice if they can make the room cleaner anyway it's not that bad.

Location was good next to the shops, resturants and transport connections.

Rooms were not that clean, mainly the bathrooms. It was more of a hostel than a hotel. Staff are less friendly than other places in Taiwan.

Strategic location near the entrance of the national forest recreation center and near the bus and train station too.

Due to the Sakura blooming season, The room's price is very expensive which I can understand. But the condition of the room is terrible. Room is old with visible thick dust under the bedside table. The in room slipper was worn out but still kept for guest use. The bathroom is smelly. The people that are working at the reception need to send for customer service training: not friendly, not helpful, ignorance.

No breakfast past 9am, and they did not provide coffee.

In general, staff. Average Taiwanese people are much nicer.
