Renyi Lake Hotel

The place is a good value of money. It is clean, cozy and surrounded by beautiful sceneries.

The wifi is connected but no internet / sometimes cut then no connection. We are booked at Room705We call the staff and go at our room and check the connection, he seems mad of going up and not in condition to speak with us, the staff is rude to say that the problem is our phone. We just say that we will use our data. He just left and walk away, no speaking, no sorry.It's his work to stay calm and polite in every situation. The hotel is located a bit further from the ChiaYi CBD, but it offers a peaceful and quiet setting. It features an underground parking lot with EV charging stations. The lobby is elegant and inviting, setting a welcoming tone. The rooms have high ceilings, and the balcony offers scenic mountain views. Everything appears to be newly built or meticulously maintained. The breakfast selection is abundant and tasty. The value for the price is excellent, offering much more than expected. Overall, my family had a wonderful stay.

It is a bit far from town centre.

Quiet and scenic location; definitely need a car as it is fairly out of the way.Room was clean and well maintained and the bed the bed was comfortable.Ideal for a couple of nights travelling between cities.

As we are pure vegetarians the breakfast was very limited, although waiting staff did make efforts to address this (with limited success).The wifi was very poor/slow.

Lack of activity, the hotel is not really near the lake rather a reservoir.

It’s close to the lake, comfortable to walk around the area.

The air conditioner didn’t work as a heater, so it was kinda cold at night.

Big, comfortable, and warm (in winter) room with a large bed. Parking for free.

The breakfast could have more choices (I would appreciate more western style, such as cereals, or traditional Chinese, like 油條or 燒餅. I would also appreciate a water fountain at every floor.

Great location and walking distance to Ximen train station. Rooms are clean, well furnished and there’s a lounge on 2nd floor that serves simple breakfast. Inside the lounge, there were washer and dryer.

Rooms are small. We stayed here for 3 nights on arrival, back again for the last 2 nights before leaving Taipei. We had the double room with balcony for both stay. We had to struggle for space for two medium size suitcases.

Parking in basement safe and large. Easy to access.

The male reception staff needed quite a bit of priding on arrival to meet our predefined requests. it’s a busy hotel catering to bus loads of Chinese tourists. once they leave in the early morning life returns to a less frantic level. Airconditioning requires a Ph.d to operate!! Staff were responsive in dealing with it. Breakfast was basic and provided the basic, albeit low quality, Western needs.Bathroom cramped but functional.

Overall very clean and new. The staff were friendly. A good spot for a great view at the coffee shop. Easy parking.

Nice hotel. Quite new, rather big and well equipped rooms.

It’s really in the middle of nowhere. Luckily the rate included breakfast and dinner because I don’t know where we’d have eaten otherwise.
