Breakfast could be better,Distance from entrance to tent was more.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the selection of food in the restaurant was great with the evening buffet being very good value for money. The rooms facing the sea have good views.

Some of the bathroom fittings were rather rusty, the door of the fridge in our room didn't close properly and there were a few stains on the furniture here and there but the warm, accommodating staff really enhanced our stay and we would recommend the resort.

I got several threatening massesges about cancellation as they can not process foreign card and started them even a week before. It was stressful.Shuttle bus was advertised on website and were told we have to arrange and that taxi charged reiduculous amount of money for 4 km drive .No one gave any information about your / restaurants probably they were asked by management for sake of their own very expansive restauarant . Phone call in the room at odd time to to see if our stay was ok and about evening tea, which could have been too by reception staff . Staff at reception were very masked face and not welcoming until my husband stared making fuss then senior person arrived with some hospitality . Overall it wants good experience from reputable chain . It spores that all they cared about Money??

The property is vast, the service is very good and the food options are great. The breakfast spread is very good and the rooms are spacious. Due to the heat, it takes some time in the afternoon to get the rooms to cool down. But the view, ambiance and service is top-notch.We were traveling with a baby and the staff made all arrangements in terms of food to make the stay comfortable. There a are some activities for the small kids and the game room along with the pool was very good.The walk from the sea view rooms to the restaurant can be a good 300 metres and could pose a problem for old people. But the rest if fine. We booked 2 tents and the stay was very comfortable. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of Diu city, this place serves as a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.

Need better maintenance of the swimming pool and considering the heat of Diu, there should be some shade around the pool area. We Indians do not need a sunbath and a covering around the deck would be more comfortable

Gym is a lie , nothing works there Tent is very fragile you feel the wind or rain and this is uncomfortable lizards and insects are alot

Food quality needs to improve

I stayed at the Fern as I was visting a friend in DIU. The Fern was the only available highly rated hotel in the area, which was important for health and safety reasons.The cabins/rooms were novel and unique. They looked nice and had good space and amenities. Staff were helpful and prompt when requests were made, for example, for additional toiletries. The venue was in a good location and was well maintained. The air con worked well, which was especially useful in the heat and humidity that occurred when I was there! The spa was also good, with talented staff.

In terms of things that could be improved:1) The availability of dietary options across meals. There was not even any non-dairy milk available at breakfast. Similarly, items could have been labelled a lot better on buffets and menus, e.g., Vegan options.2) The constant music from the speakers on the grass was frustrating. There was no way to even turn individual ones off near one's cabin. This was especially annoying when I was trying to rest in the morning or during a hot afternoon. I thought, at first, it may have been other residents having parties again as some annoyingly were, late at night. But, that was a separate issue.

Staff was rude .The parties were on till 12 am and with loud music allowed by the hotel guests are not able to sleep .Overall very uncomfortable experience after paying almost 18k for the room .Better of trying good hotels at lower priceManager was just giving lame excuses

Good view to see sun rise/set. Great experience to stay in the tent.

Event which lasted into late night and disturb the guest from resting.Water from the room and swimming pool tasted salty.

Too expensive for a night we were charged INR 12000 3 night 36000.00 same room on my make my trip was INR was 6000.00 per night please can you refund the rest of the balance yours sincerely mr manji & Susie Mauji

Overall property is good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tent quality and interior is good. Breakfast buffet has variety.

When we checked in, the tent was not clean. On request they did the cleaning. In house restaurant O Gusto does not serve any mocktail or Cocktail. (When asked they told us that Bar tender is on leave). Bar was closed. Ala carte Menu served at dinner is not up to the mark. Overall this is not as good as level of other Fern hotels. Not value for money. When we book Fern, we have certain expectations but Fern Diu does not meet the same..

The sea frontage was good and the rooms were spacious.

We were not told that the water supply was salty water and not safe.We were not contacted prior to arrival that there were private events that meant there would be loud blaring music till 11PM. The property had my email and could have let us know.Because of the private event we were initially told we could not use the restaurant and there was no offer made to drive us to a restaurant instead. I had to make a complaint and the manager instructed the restaurant to allow us. The lady managing the register at the restaurant was rude and arrogant. There were items on the menu which were just not available for the entirety of my stay - Rasamalai, which is a crowd favourite. The Gulab jamuns were small and like those from a can.All other staff were very polite, respectful and helpful.On the day of check out I rang and asked for someone to come for the luggage. No one came.Access to the beach was not easy. One has to walk quite a distance to get to the gate. Since the frontage to the beach is quite broad and spread out, there could be gates at other points to make it easier. People were climbing over the fence as a short cut, which would be impossible for the elderly.

The tap water was quite miserableMine being the last tent (#118), there was lot of outside vehicle noise thru the nightThe bathroom was bit smellyHad to ask for hand towels...not provided in the roomFor TV settings, had to repeatedly ask for assistance (finally got AFTER 3 rimenders and about 35 minytes - lost that much time for match watch!!Breakfast was quite disorganized (NOT upto FERN standards!!)

The tents were great, staff were lovely and breakfast was good. Location stunning. Pool and gym good - beach very close with food places and bars

The staff were genuinely lovely but need a lot more training. I nearly missed my flight as was told to come back for 1600 to collect my bags. At 1600 airport was calling (there’s only 1 flight a day) saying flight was about to go. It was very stressful and I’d have happily have gone earlier if staff had t said not to worry. It tainted the holiday a bit as rest of stay was wonderful
