Very close to the train station with a relaxing public bath/sauna.

The bed was not as soft as I had hoped it would be.

I have an allergy to feathers and they were very accommodating to this. The location was fantastic. So close to everything that I needed. The staff were great. Always answering my questions and giving me directions.

Right next to train bus and taxis. Small yet spotless hotel. Restaurant is good. If there’s anything negative to say it’s that you have to walk past the smoking room and the odor from cigarettes is off putting. Staff are just wonderful

Our 4th stay at this wonderful hotel!. As usual the staff were very professional but also friendly and between their English and our very limited Japanese we got buy. We have had a number of different rooms over the years and usually have a King Room but decided on. Superior twin this time as we were only stay a few days. Perfectly adequate size even with all of our suitcases and the bed extremely comfortable. Can’t understand why this hotel does not have a higher rating??.

Nothing to dislike

The location of the property was perfect; next to train station with easy access; room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly; perfect for our overnight stay.

Most convenient location in the centre, close to the railway / bus stations. Many restaurants and shops are also in the closest vicinity of the hotel. Reasonably close to the river, lake to have a nice walk. Beatiful gardens also in the walking distance. Best room hotel service.

as expected, wiht no surprise easier way

Rooms furnishing but hotel is undergoing a well deserved renovation.Breakfast buffet has been greatly reduced, with no choice of eegs. I miss that.

Best location. I've never seen a better breakfast in my 25 years of travel experience. DO NOT SKIP breakfast, little extra you pay for it is 101% worth it! Rooms are dated and could be cleaner -- lots of dust in the corners! This is my 3rd time staying here. And I will be using this hotel to stay in future!

Dust in most corners of the room! Slow and patchy internet. Film on window glass makes it blur and hard to see through. Rooms can benefit from some TLC.

Breakfast was decent, but the best part was that they had local Saza coffee there. Delicious.The staff were also friendly and accommodating, and made me feel very welcome. I would definitely stay again.

The bathroom was a little small but that isn't a serious issue.

the hotel is located directly in front of mito station. this is really convinion when you arrive by train or bus service. the taxi station is also direct in front of the hotel.at the beakfast buffet you can choose between japanese and western food. there is no huge selection, but everyone should find something. the entire food is fresh and is constantly added.

i arrived a little earlier and the room was not ready prepared and i had to wait. there were some other guests who were waiting. all of them were anounced from the recepion guys as soon there rooms were available. i'm not. and as i've aske for it they were not able to remember me. I was the only foreigner there.and the room was really used. all there was old and worn out. there was spots on the floor, scratches on the wall, the bathtub was yellowish and did not look iviting.unfortunately my room had a view on an dirty roof.

It is very conveniently linked to shopping malls, where you can find restaurants easily. There are also plenty of parking spaces in an indoor parking where it is linked to the Hotel. However, it cost ¥1000 per day parking fee.

The hotel is a bit worn out and needs renovation in some area. However, it is still clean and tidy for short stay.

Beautiful hotel, welcoming staff, and lovely breakfast buffet. Very convenient since it is part of the train station. The bed was a little firm for my taste, but I would definitely stay here again.

Wish they had rooms to accommodate 3 or 4 adults instead of having to get 2 rooms.

There is a parking lot, although not free, at the very near corner of the hotel. It is quite convenient.

Close proximity to train station, very good breakfast

Old rooms which need refurbishing and renovation. Despite the fact that I took the biggest possible room, it was extremely small for the European standards. The toilet had horrible smell.

Great location to train station. Good choices of breakfast items, both Japanese & western, staff very curious, helpful & pleasant. Hotel, rooms & lobby clean & airy. Will stay next time I’m in Mito.

No complaints

The location and the general ambience of the hotel brought us back for a six night stay. The hotel in Mito is part of a building housing the train station, two malls with a supermarket and many restaurants and this time a private gym. Both the north and south entrance/exit of the train station lead to a separate bus terminal. This facilitates moving around in and out of Ibaraki. The breakfast was fine but I miss Onsen eggs or fried eggs. This time the hotel gives out a coupon for a free drink in the Italian restaurant if we opted not to have our beddings changed and that felt good.

The Onsen was a tad small.

Great staff and location, hotel room was clean and nice; everything was functional and working.

The room was starting to show it's age, with minor stains on walls and slightly worn down furniture. Curtains were wonky to operate.
