Tsukuba Daily Inn

Staffs are really kind but cant speak English well, but its not a big problem. There are free breakfast and some snacks in the morning, coffee and tea are available for free, there is working space with manga collections but in Japanese, so far excellent with affordable budget.

Room is too small but still ok

The location was excellent for me, and the breakfast was simple but satisfactory.

However, the toilet seat in my room was not heated and lacked a bidet, which was quite uncomfortable and cold, especially during the winter season.

Even it is was a little old, it was very quiet which is what I am looking for a hotel!

The property is quite comfortable for its price. The simple but delicious breakfast is served every morning. The bed linen and towels are changed every day. Despite the fact that the hotel is a bit old, everything is clean and maintained.

The rooms were small but there was lovely lobby on the first floor.

Hot springs on the first floor. Complimentary breakfast bread.

Room was smaller than typical hotels of a similar type. Had to pay upfront with no cancellation allowed.

Property location was great for my conference venue at the Tsukuba International Conference Center. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely great venue for money. There's a free simple breakfast as well which can tide you over until lunch if you don't usually eat breakfast.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice common room and a humble complimentary breakfast. Bicycle hire for free was very useful.

Size of the toilet and the trip hazard to get in and out of it.

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive to my needs (this is coming from someone who cannot speak any Japanese). The Inn has an excellent cosy vibe, accentuated by all the timber finishing to the lobby areas. And I loved the complimentary light breakfast provided everyday - they were excellently prepared, delicious, and the fact that they were slightly different each day meant i never got tired of having them each morning for my 7 day stay at the Inn. The soup and prepared dish were of particularly noteworthy. It was also extremely helpful that free bike hiring was available - which made travelling around Tsukuba significantly easier. With the bike, i was able to goto the International Congress Centre, Tsukuba Station, and Tsukuba Botanical Gardens all in short time.

I do wish there were a few more powerpoints in my room, especially around the desks. But this is just a minor note since an extension cable + board was provided.

A little bit old bathroom.

This is my second stay at the hotel. Staff were helpful and kind! I enjoy their service to ride a bicycle around the premises of Tsukuba. Would come back a third time if the opportunity arises!

Bed was a bit stiff for my back and heater smelled when turned on, which are minor issues. Didn't not otherwise affect my expectations and experience!

I didnt expect much before going but absolutely loved it. Staff was nice, room was great, and the light breakfast was fulfilling. Loved the vibes!

Bicycle to rent for nearby areas was great! Staff were patient and helpful with questions.

It is a very good value small business hotel. There is a very large common room area for guests to relax. There was a simple breakfast, but I was surprised that it was more than adequate given the low price of the hotel.

It's a twenty-five minute walk from Tsukuba Station, so a bit out of the central area of the city. There are few restaurants around, but I do recommend the Trattoria Sereno, which can be reached by a ten-minute walk through a residential area from the hotel.

Friendly, tidy, and clean rooms. On the first floor is a manga library, where you can pick whatever manga you like and bring it with you to read comfortably in your room. The breakfast is also okay, with a decent variety of drinks. If that's not enough, there is a couple of vending machines near the lobby.
