    Pros +

    • room was ok...BUT WALLS THIN!!GUESTS VERY NOISY EVERY NIGHT TIL -1 TO 2 AM
    • Location to the beach was great. View from our room was amazing!
    • Beautiful outdoor pool area, staff were really helpful, breakfast was great, views over the lagoon for sunset were really nice (make sure you ask for a high floor with a lagoon view). We were able to check in early as our rooms were ready and stay in the hotel grounds after checkout before our flight. The bar prices were very reasonable and the staff in there were great. Beaches nearby are golden, sandy and clean and the sea is lovely and clear.

    Cons -

    • QUIET TO SLEEP!
    • The buffet was not even close being worth the cost.
    • The room was sold as a triple room however the third bed was a temporary one and there was no room for it so it was pushed up against the patio doors which meant we couldn't get out onto the patio without climbing on top of the bed and manoeuvring the door somehow. The bathroom was very small and it was almost impossible to get into the shower as the bidet was in the way. We told reception staff about the room and they said they have actual triple rooms in the hotel but it was full - and they could only offer us to change the next day to a low floor with no view and we couldn't see the room before changing as guests were in it, so we decided to stay where we were.We understood the pool would be cold - which it was - but were told the jacuzzis were warm, however they were also freezing cold just not quite as cold as the pool, so we were disappointed we couldn't use them. We were half board and breakfast was great but the dinner was very basic.La Manga strip itself is quite run down so you need a car to get out and about and explore places nearby like Cartagena.

The staff were helpful and friendly and we thought the welcome drink was a nice touch.

There was only Spanish terrestrial TV available and no access to Smart TV or international channels such as Netflix, Prime etc which we found in other hotels we stayed in during our visit to Spain. Also, the tea and coffee facilities were dreadful, with only decaffeinated coffee sachets and no milk provided. When we asked for milk, we were told that ‘we don’t provide milk and the tea and coffee are a welcome gift’. This again is not the norm. The air conditioning, being seasonal, did not reflect the outside temperatures at the time, so the room was hot during the night.

I'm the middle of no where. Food abysmal, spa mediocre. Staff unwelcoming, don't bother

    8TrudiPosted on: 3-28-2025

The outdoor pool is great, with free access. The bedrooms seem large, some with amazing views of the Mar Menor

The room is quite light at night, so if you like a dark room to sleep, bring an eye mask

The room was really well presented with a nice balcony and lovely view of the sea. The staff were super friendly and helpful with any of the questions I had. Plus the massages at the spa were fantastic and would definitely recommend.

The food quality wasn't that good for neither breakfast nor dinner sadly which was a bit of a shame. And the price of dinner was about 20 euros which was a bit expensive for what it was. Plus the majority of bakeries, shops and restaurants were closed in March.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly

Breakfast was cold and poor quality and the Spa packed us un like sardines this let it down and the sauna and steamroom was cold

Although the hotel isn’t new and its location, surrounded by water, impacts its condition, it still has an authentic and cool vibe. All rooms offer sea views, and there’s a spa. Both breakfast and dinner are quite good.

Could use some updates in certain areas

Good food, some rooms now have walk in showers instead of baths - much better! It Sina very quiet zone - which is what we like

    Nothing!

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The spa is amazing.

Evening meals don't start until 8pm which is a bit late for me personally.

    8MarcoPosted on: 11-4-2024

The food, the view, the staff, the pool, near to beaches and friendly staff.

None of the plugs worked (sink and bath).

    6NicolaPosted on: 10-22-2024

    Good location.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable and pillows flat. Food was average.

    5WillPosted on: 10-18-2024

Staff were lovely and hotel is in a good location.

The hotel badly needs refurbishment. We stayed in room 610 and had not hot running water so could not shower after a day at the beach ( this seemed to rectify the next day). Tv in room didn’t work and patio doors very difficult to open and close. Black out curtain has holes all over it. Furniture on balcony had t been cleaned in weeks . The photos do not reflect the actual status of the hotel. It needs redecorating and is not in our option 4 star.

Really bad do not go there. So disappointed in don’t even know where to start. Room was not clean dirty cups with humans hair. Too noisy, stuff was bossy sit there dont sit there do this don’t do that i felt like in army not on holiday with waiter commanding me how to move where to sit and how to eat . I paid 20 euros for dinner and i couldn’t even have a cup of coffee with my dessert as i always like to do. On breakfast there was no fresh salad at all only cooked food. Really old and needs renovation. Gym is a joke there is no equipment. Horrible not going back there again.

    bed and bedsheets

We've payed for a room with seaview but it didn't happen. It was said it's according to availability. Make sure you call the reception when booking. in the room the coffee mugs were not clean. there's no massage on Sundays. spa closes at 16.

Very nice hotel and we where so lucky to get a room with a pool/sea view.Because of that you could enjoy the afternoon sun on your balcony all thewith into the sunset with a great view. Also the breakfast buffet is excellent.

When you where enjoying the sunset on your balcony, they turned on all thebalcony lights at the hotel around 22:00 until midnight ruing the nice and cozy atmospherethat you had sitting outside. Should be be individual option to turn it on and off.

    8SHAYPosted on: 9-28-2024

the room had an amazing view and the balcony was huge. We were able to watch a beautiful sunset from the balcony. The pool was lovely there was plenty of loungers and the staff were excellent

The women's showers in the spa were not clean to an acceptable standard which suprized me compared to the rest of the hotel.
