- Full board. However the food wasn't that great.
- Good location access to both sides of the beautiful beaches, 10 minute walk to the night market and kids fair, paid private parking that is worth it during the busy season, ocean view room with amazing sunsets from balcony, added an extra bed for family of four, on the lagoon side with calm, shallow waters , kite surfing hot spot, some jelly fish spotted, walk across the street to a beautiful beach with crystal clear water and white sand, lots of restaurants choices in the area best coffee and tapas at Ninos, great hotel!
- It’s clean and the staff are helpful, the breakfast is good but bland. The pool area is quite nice. The rooms are good.
Cons -
- It had no gym.
- Buffet choices limited, dinner drinks not included in all inclusive price.
- The Hôtel desperately needs a remodel, everything inside of the hotel screams 1960-1980.

Location was good. Views over the Mar Menor are unbelievable.
The breakfast was absolutely terrible. Only tried on the first day, did not return again. 3 lifts only for so many guests. Wi-Fi, though free, kept dropping out or was simply not available. Beds are tiny doubles and very uncomfortable. The pillow is one very long pillow, though we were 2 guests. Very strange. Overall appearance of hotel is dated, decaying and needs some serious money spent to bring it up to date. Hotel attracts older Spanish clientele.
The location and the room were great and the breakfast was good
The food at lunch and dinner was bland and lacked choice
The location of the hotel was good and our room was great for the view of the natural scenery, unfortunately the breakfast, lunch and dinner were not suitable and there was no variety of food.
food
The view from the balcony was awesome. That’s the only thing we liked
Our room was nothing like pictured on booking.com looks like it’s from 1970. Bed was rock solid, only 1 pillow, breakfast was a joke. Rammed with people extremely loud, cold very basic food. Reception were not helpful when we questioned the room and simply said you need to pay €50 extra per night for a nicer room
Breakfast was OK if continental. Hot food was cold. They need to turn up heat under the food. Overall it was good value.
Need to put cereal bowls by the cereal. ?
Stunning views. Very comfortable beds.
Food not great although good selection everything was cold. Still good value for money and will return.
The view from the bedroom.
It was a horrible experience, I don’t understand how it can have more than 1 star, if you are over 80 years old then maybe you’ll like it but wow… awful smell, old everything, deteriorated, the breakfast was so disgusting its the first time in my life I pass on an already paid for meal.
Pleasant
bad experience with the reception, really uncomfortable beds, overcrowded
It is very well located
We needed to rent the deck chair and there isn’t a place to park bicycles
The location is great, and the food was so fresh and delicious.
More shade around the pool. Disappointed that they charge for sunbeds and charge for fresh orange juice for breakfast.
Everything was great and above expectations. Location by the beach, nice pool area and friendly staff.
Extremely high noise level at breakfast.
Good location with a nice beach on the lagoon side and a short walk (10mins) to the Mediterranean side and beaches. Rooms are a good size and comfortable with blackout shutters and a balcony. There are updated rooms available for extra cost but ours were fine if a bit "tatty" round the edges. Small fridge and TV in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value at the time we booked (full board). Lots of restaurants and cafes/ice cream shops nearby. Drinks and beach cafe snacks weren't expensive. Nice large pool - but no shade.Cycle paths run along the main roads and there are electric scooters everywhere to hire for short periods (Dott).Lots of space on the Mediterranean side beaches with showers available.
Awful hotel dining experience - huge football pitch sized indoor buffet which was incredibly noisy and crowded. The most unpleasant I've experienced in 35yrs of travelling. There's no outdoor eating option except a small beach cafe with a limited snack menu which opens about 11am and closes early in the evening. Nowhere even to have a coffee outside (they will not allow you to take anything out of the dining area). The full board option was cheap but the food is limited in choice and of canteen quality. Drinks have to be purchased - even water! To cap it all off my wife was stuck in bed for 2 days with gastroenteritis after eating a salad there (we'd all eaten the same except for her salad). Almost exclusively Spanish guests - our family was the only english speaking guests (that we heard) out of several hundred. Many of the staff only spoke Spanish. All information in Spanish only. The lagoon is very shallow (still only 1m deep over 500m from the shore) - but also very warm - and was often full of the "fried egg" jellyfish which are fairly harmless but still irritating,No promenades here - just the main road running the length of La Manga, Wifi is slow when the hotel is busy - too slow to stream video in the evenings. The (non-refurbished) rooms that we were in had no spare plugs to use (we bought an extension/adapter).The sailing boats on the beach weren't available to hire - booked out to a sailing school for the whole week.Sun loungers have to be hired every day (but only €2/day).Huge queues at the reception almost every day.The main road that runs through the centre of La Manga is often very busy and can take some time to cross. We found cockroaches in the room and bathroom on 3 occasions in a week.
Given that it is a huge hotel, they managed the breakfast buffet well, with several buffet stations. It is a bit dated with a 1980s feel but everything in the room was functional and clean. It is a very family-oriented 3 star hotel, geared up for kids and primarily catering for Spanish Holidaymakers. It has direct access to the Mar Menor lagoon, which is great for small kids but too shallow and warm for swimming, best to cross to the Mediterranean side beaches for swimming etc.
Be warned parking is a zoo and highly competitive around the hotel which is situated back off the main road. I was lucky in that I found a spot on a nearby side road. Let's say the furniture and finish are utilitarian, this is a simple hotel with no affectations!
Nothing,
My arrival was later due to traveling. When I asked about food, I was informed that the kitchen was closed. So I had to make do with the leftovers and payment was demanded,in advance,. Afterwards I could understand why, it was dreadful. I should have known u get what you pay for, low price =low standards.
Lots of noise. Problematics guests knocking at doors in the middle of the night and shouting. Cook complaints to us about the picnic order not being reported when we did requested the evening before as advised.
Very good location, delicious cuisine, although the selection is not very large, but the food is of high quality. The rooms are new, some are without renovation, but the view from the window beautifies any renovation))
Amazing view from the balcony .mar menor to the left pool below and the sea and strip to the right . We could watch the entertainment from our balcony . Location was brilliant . Breakfast not that great apart from the fruit which was good . We were the only English people in the hotel and there was no English tv which we would have liked for the euro football. Rooms are dated . Would not rate this a 4 star hotel but it is good value and the hotel is busy and popular .
Paying for a sunbed . Should be free . They were very old and broken. We only used the pool once because of this .
