Staff, rooms and breakfast

Very well kept, lean, and convenient. Nice location, very friendly staff.

Breakfast was pretty basic, can be a bit more inclusive. This is the only suggestion. Otherwise hotel is very good.

Very good location, good value, good staff, late check-in, clean room, tasty breakfast.

Soundproofing not the best so because of other rowdy guests did not get the best sleep.

Cleanliness, breakfast was included and delicious and the location was perfect! Easy walk to downtown and restaurants.

Breakfast was good and the location was within walking distance to restaurants and water.

We only stayed one night, checking in the staff really just didn’t care if we were there or not. Answered our questions but didn’t crack a smile.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and offers a great place to have as base for getting to know the island.

There are some details that show usage that could be improved in order for it to be flawless. For example, the washbasin had some scratches. However none of it affected the quality of the stay.

Excellent breakfast along with big comfortable bed, the mattress was of really good quality. We had an issue in the middle of the night with the bar fridge. Supposedly the coils or the Freon was leaking causing a strong chemical smell. Glad my wife noticed the smell as I was asleep. I went down to the front desk and the gentleman came up and removed the fridge and changed us to another room. The next morning I told them my wife was nauseous and that we did not want to stay in this room as we still had 6 nights left in our stay. Luckily they found another room for the remaining of our stay. They gave us a suite which was appreciated. I would definitely stay in the this hotel if we decide to stay in Ponta Delgada as our home base.

The staff at breakfast do not acknowledge or make eye contact with guests while they are walking in the room.

This hotel is comfortable and located very close to downtown Ponta Delgada. It was great for moving around the city main part of the city and we loved the bakery located right next to the property. The breakfast at the hotel was also great and the staff were very kind. I look forward to coming back and staying here!

Everything was great!

Clean, plenty of outlets, comfortable bedding, balcony, ample breakfast with variety selection.

Our a/c worked well but needed to be switched on by the front reception every evening.

We were glad we chose the Canadiano. The location made it easy for us to park our rental car, the breakfast was generous and had great choices, and the room was very clean and comfortable. We walked to the center of PDG, which was nice because parking in town was challenging otherwise.

Noise. People partying on the deck below us, and it's right next to a bakery. That started deliveries at 0300, and were yelling at each other.

Excellent location,the lady who checked us in was very apologetic about the elevator not working and even helped us with our luggage

The very rude behaviour of the staff at breakfast A basic request for refill of the water at the buffet counter was met with a terse reply of it not being her domain of work Absolutely unacceptable.

Good location with ample parking. Staff wonderful and bed comfortable. Unfortunately little to no sound insulation so if the hotel is busy and neighbors not considerate, it might be hard to sleep
