Location

Advertised as "Free parking" but parking lot was always full. Staff was pretty indifferent, not super friendly. Did their job, that's all - it may be a cultural thing.

The hotel was clean and comfortable.The breakfast was good. the staff was friendly and courteous with meeting expectations in all areas. Parking was a challenge as should be expected considering the location.I would not hesitate to stay there again.

It didn’t have any amenities.So it was priced a little bit higher than I expected for what you’re getting.

Bed was quite comfortable

No amenities whatsoever. Not even shampoo. The bathtub is difficult to access if you have even the slightest physical limitation. Okay as a place to crash for a night, but I wouldn?t recommend staying any longer.

Location was great and the complementary breakfast was very good. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything was a little dated and awkward and they charged me more than the booking.com agreement.

The location, near airport

The breakfast was poorly prepared and the quality was not good. The staff in the dining area not accommodating nor friendly. Initially the room had a stale or moldy smell that appeared to be coming from the bathroom. Luckily the room did have a large window to let fresh air in, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to stay. Maybe the room had been closed up for a while given it was off season.

It’s a bit loud, you can hear every time someone leaves their room

Many items needed repair. The bathroom light was out and the sink did not drain well. The bathtub was very slippery. The closet did not close properly. The curtains were broken. The refrigerator did not work.

The location was very good, the breakfast is tasty with local products. Clean and calm place. Some cars cant enter the street but for tours the pick up point is quite close. Reception let us keep our bags in locker room for free as we arrived couple hours early for check in.

Everything was good. Maybe just the fact that they don’t replace towels even if you throw all of them on the dirty floor, they just hang towels back up. We only saw letter in the room saying for towels to be replaced they need to be in bathtub. First time seeing this rule, but we ended up using same dirty floor towels for five days :) “clean the room” badge only made our bed, as even tea cups stayed as used in random spots as they were.

The Azoriani is a cute little hotel in the centre of Ponta Delgada, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room was spacious and clean. My stay was smooth and uneventful and sometimes that's enough.

This property was in a great location and very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the staff at the front desk was extremely rude. We were traveling with a large group and they didn’t know we spoke Portuguese. They were consistently making comments about us in a rude manner and the amount of luggage we had, and it made us very uncomfortable. They were not welcoming, and made the check in process very difficult for us, they insisted that we had not completed payment and we had, so make sure that you bring a receipt if you had already paid prior to your check in.

It’s a comfort inn that rebranded and is still a comfort inn. The staff seems really unhappy to be there and less than friendly for sure
