Hotel did not provide me accommodation despite reserving in well advance

My reservation was cancelled at last moment stating that they did not get the reservation information from Booking.com timely.

We left early and they did prepare a descent breakfast for us to take away.

More space, more towels needed.

Location and make of the property

The staff specially the reception and the managerial was horrible and insensitive. They had no respect for guest needs. Tried ordering a simple sandwich and it took over 45 minutes to start making. I finally canceled the order out of frustration and they were happy to accept the cancelation. The water pipe in thr adjoining room broke, and ky room was flooded with water. The housekeeping team did their best to clean it and make it comfortable for us, but the rest of the hotel did not care and were not even aware of it. When I asked the reception if the could change my room, they refused to acknowledge the fact that any such thing happened. The hot water system malfunctioned. The hotel is good, location is even better. I have respects for the housekeeping team, they were really good. But the rest of the staff is worthless.

Room size,too small and for basic things they were charged extra

This is a good hotel. Reasonably clean with a good dining room, source of drinking water on each floor. The hotel seems to be frequented by business travellers from respectable companies. Therefore, all around, there are pretty decent and down-to-earth people. The hotel staff are particularly helpful.

However, over the years, they have not evolved a lot. Some twenty years ago, the facilities would have been considered pretty good. However, now there are many hotels that are providing much better facilities and comfort at a similar cost. I got a good deal with Rs. 3,500-ish per day. Therefore, I have nothing much to complain about. I noticed that sometimes the tariff of the rooms goes as high as Rs. 8000-ish. That is downright unfair, considering the quality of the product.

The location of the hotel and the price for that is good. The breakfast was okay at best because it lacked lot of options. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

The rooms were small, buffet lunch was not that great, had very few options. The Wi-Fi is very bad, you end up paying for a plan to get some decent connection.

The food was excellent.

Lift was not functional.Toileteries were not given for 2 people..

U had booked a room from 21 to 22 March and when I came to the hotel I was told that my booking was only for the day and that to check out on 22 I had to pay for another night. Why would anyone check in at 2 PM and check out at 5 PM. This is some kind of a scam and then to do some damage control I was told that dinner would be on the house. I am seriously disappointed by the way I was treated at the reception in Ginger where I had to wait for 2 hours just to check in. My money should be returned and if not I will never use booking. com or any Ginger property ever

Everything good except staff needs to focus more on guest , it takes 1 hour to send a water btl and staffs need to smile while receiving the guests

Apart from the location nothing to appreciate.

The room size was too small compared to the rate. Max staff were over talking over the phone. Switches were bit old and needed replacement.

Check in was not smooth, took almost 50mins since reported at the counter.. Ginger staffs asked me to leave the property by 5pm on the same day while it was booked for 1night from 8th to 9th March.. also staffs are well trained asked customers to contact booking com for any query as it was booked.. they are not bothered to solve any query…

Staffs are great, helpful and cooperative.

Needs lot of repair and maintenance. Poor cleaning. Internet and WiFi not great.
