An exceptional property with a truly refined ambience. The attention to detail is remarkable, with exquisite art pieces thoughtfully placed at every corner, each adding its own character and charm. The overall experience felt elegant, calm, and immersive. Easily one of the finest properties I’ve stayed at in India, and a place I would gladly return to.

It is an excellent hotel with great service and staff. Everything was great starting from front door, receiption, room service, cleaning service, restaurant in terms of both service and staff. Hotel has a great ambient where nature in blended with ancient architecutre and modernity. Can recommend for anyone who's visiting Bhubaneswar.

Everything was perfect and there's nothing to be complained. I would like to recommend this for anyone visiting Bhubaneswar. All staff members can even handle English language very well so all tourists are welcome.

The location was great and breakfast was very good too. Service was wonderful as well. The place is a resort in the middle of the city and they have so many sculptures and artifacts that it feels like an art gallery. The temple onsite was quite a highlight.

There was some construction work ongoing near the breakfast restaurant Teapot which while is fine they could have done at non-breakfast hours. Should not do it when breakfast is ongoing.

Decors and interiors were splendid, had great time , entire property was a visual treat ,could click some really good colourful pictures. Food at nakli dhabha and tea pot was very good, fish stew,sea food broth ,chicken sausages was really yummy ?

Wonderful room overlooking the lagoon...quiet and relaxing. Our housekeeping staff was the best. The restaurant staff was overly plentiful. Our favorite was the Chinese restaurant.

Staff are very friendly everywhere in the hotel. Spa was great. Nakli dabha staff was very smiley and genuine

1. There was a rat inside our room. 2. Due to health reason we had to leave a day early. This was communicated way in advance. But money was not refunded. Business seems to be only for profit. No empathy. Even for senior citizens.

Location & food

Old, run down rooms at back end of property. Construction & renovation going on with no thought of guests comfort.

We have been staying this hotel every year for over 10 years. We like their charming resort like common space, such as swimming pool. Spa is great too.

Our bathroom was quite smelly from sewer underground. They tried to clean up, but wouldn't work. The plugs were a bit loose so it was a bit hard to charge devices. We left a mobile phone in the room, and we immediately sent message via email and Booking.com, but they haven't replied until now, 2 days after checkout. We had to have someone local to call them, but they didn't find it. We knew the phone was there since we could track its location. So we had to have the person to contact them again..and finally they found it. It was pain to manage this.

I booked a club room with balcony and a garden view. There was no balcony and there was absolutely no view

Absolutely amazing experience staying at the Mayfair. We stayed for 4 nights to attend the wedding of friends and I didn't leave the hotel at all during those days, that's how much I enjoyed the general atmosphere, room, pool, several restaurants, spa area. Quiet at night and fantastic breakfast buffet. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. It's expensive for Indian standards but totally worth the money.

Excellent public areas, large number of restaurants, calm and quiet atmosphere and surroundings, friendly and very helpful service staff. Great breakfast too.

One of the front desk team and the breakfast host were business-like but not welcoming.
