Sheraton Offenbach Hotel

problems with a/c.. the staff was informed from first day the the a/c doses not cool. the issue was not solved. The only suggestion was to use a small electric fan, appropriate to a 1 star hotel. The room was not cleaned for 2 days. No soap in the bath.

The property is quite outdated. The box on which the coffee pods were, was dirty, you could see it has not been cleaned as it had sugar spelled everywhere, and some cookies crumbs.

The room was impeccably clean, just like in the photos. The staff were very kind, from the housekeeping team and the wonderful bartender to the friendly reception staff. We were cold, and they immediately brought a heater to our room. Breakfast was decent.It would be nice if the room included slippers, cotton swabs, and a shoehorn from the start.Everything worth seeing in Offenbach is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, with excellent connections to Frankfurt and the airport.

I'm disappointed!

In the internet and also in the brochures in the room the availability of a sauna is announced. According to the hotel staff, the sauna has been closed some time ago. Why does it take so long to change the advertising material. I would expect that a Sheraton hotel shuld have accurate information material

Service is good. Breakfast is great.

Carpet in the room seem old now. Time to either replace them or a deep deep wash clean is required. Steam clean maybe.

Location was good and next to public transport options. Did not see the restaurant, outside area, conference room or fitness. But overall it has a lit of great options. Friendly people at the desk.

Not that clean (stains on floor and a part of the showerstand fell off during showering) and pricey compared to what you get. No bench or anything for my dog. Did not find the bed comfortable (soft soft pillows).

Went for a bite to eat which was very nice When the bill came it was incorrect as it stated that I had 2 beers( I’ve never drank a beer in my life)… it took 3 goes to rectify this with the staff member insisting & challenging me that I had sat at the bar & drank ….which I hadn’t… (there were 2 other ladies at the bar with vaguely similar hair colour .. different outfits & with different partners )

Furnishings are tired looking. Pillows are so flat and old and beds are soft too soft for our liking. Wonder why are the basic toiletries not placed in the bathroom? I have to ask from the counter. No kettle, no tea bags/coffee and no cups. Was told by staff free water is only for the day of check in although we know tap water is drinkable. Many people are not comfortable drinking tap water.

Quality went down aswell as the value. Not sure to book it next year again.

1.) i booked a double bed. Getting to the room I found two queen beds. Asking why this change the answer was:“ be happy you got a room“ - unexpected and not an answer expect at a Sheraton. 2.) Asking how to get a beer after a 500km drive - the answer was: „I am not allowed to give you one neither the room service - order one with delivery by UBER! True it was 1:30 pm - but a non acceptable answer in a Sheraton 3.) breakfast: one person checking if you have booked a breakfast - no person available to serve a coffee. Eggs, bacon, sausages have been almost cold! Breakfast went down from the last stays over last years and not worth 23EUR

A terrible hotel. We complained...

There was no aircon functioning in our room when we enter the room after our dinner. We call the housekeeping and said she cannot do anything and just gave us electric fan which we did not use it because we might get sick. We did not sleep the whole night because it was too hot.

The location.

The staff definitely do not clean the rooms, so please be prepared to clean it yourself. We had to call housekeeping to change stained sheets in one room. In the other room, I cleaned a big dead bug off the headboard that had to be there for weeks. Both floors had cumbs on it because they don't vacuum and my African mother went around swiping dust and dirt off the desk area so we could eat. I would not stay here again.

It was nice, quite and clean. The bed was perfect.

Old TV model. You cannot pair it with smart devices or use an HDMI cable.

Very dissatisfied! We ordered a room for three adults which cost us 110 euros more per night than a room for two people of the same size, with only one bed available!! And the hotel wanted an additional 45 euros per night for an extra bed!! So, the third person in the same double room cost us 155 euros per night!!! When I disagreed, the hotel still deducted the funds from my card! I do not recommend this hotel.

During the night somebody entered into my room and they have stolen 3500 euros, i noticed this next day after i did check out, the hotel said we dont have cameras to see if someone was in the room, it means secueity there is zero.
