FLC Luxury Hotel Samson

It was disappointing.

There are 3 different hotels or parts of the same hotel. The reviews on booking.com group these all together which is very deceptive along with the pictures on the advert as they show different locations. There is a massive difference between the 3 hotels. For the majority of advertised services you had to go to a different location. Also lots of the facilities were just closed. Our room was very tired, old and grotty.We didn’t stay after we discovered all of these problems we checked out after a few hours and found a different hotel.

Nice big studio room.good value when on special price

It's too far out of the way and you have to get a taxi to get to the shops and restaurant. The breakfast wasn't that special. I've had better at a 3 star hotel.. hot water was only luke warm

Nice pool but the water was very warm. The room was quite big.

It‘s not ok if they charge you more for the French fries at the pool than what is shown on the menu because their kitchen is closed and they have to get them from the hotel on the other side of the street.

The hotel staff were fantastic. Went over and above to help us. The resort is pristine. December is definitely off peak as Sam Son itself was deserted. There were hardly any places open to eat. The hotel however was great. The cakes in our room for Christmas were definitely appreciated.

Most places were shut (even within the resort). Not having a car would have made getting meals very difficult.

The staff is very keen on helping and solving problems. The hotel management pushes the limits to satisfy the customers. It was my wife's birthday during my stay and they offer the cake free of charge (the cake was better than I expect. For the dinners, the hotel restaurant's cost-benefit rate was 5/5 for me.

First of all, the hotel's local guest profile is not familiar and polite to ex-pat guests. So, although it's a 5-star hotel, be well prepared to be faced with weird interactions with the other guests. During my 2 days of stay there with my family, I had moments in which I didn't feel safe. I think this is a very important security issue that needs to be improved.Lastly, the hotel staff is not really speaking English. Even for the standard issues, they may not understand you. On the phone or face2face conversations, you may suffer telling your problem or asking for anything.

Spacious room, quiet, located on the beach, great pools and activities.

Unsecured WiFi, no A/C in the hallways, towels not accessible at the pools.

Breakfast is OK, it is not too far from Hanoi

The hotel was noisy. They put the loud speakers near rooms and they turn loud loud loud music until midnight which like music drum hit to my chest. I could not sleep.

ocean view is good. swimming pool is huge.

breakfast is terrible, bedroom is very small compared to the suite size. They only prepare 2 small bottles of water (like 250ml each) in the room, which we consume very fast during this hot weather in Sam Son. Heavy noise from upstair early in the morning (probably renovation).Very hot & stuffy corridor too (which is long, like 300m walk). Apparently they installed all the ACs but never turn them on.

The place itself is very nice. The staffs are nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! A variety of food was served. Room is nice and clean.

There were no people in charge in the heated pool near our building so we had to go to the other building and walk back to our room after, which is not near our room at all.
