U-Thong Hotel

I had a comfortable stay in a room that had recently (?) been renovated to be modern.Very good place for budget travelers.

The stay included breakfast, but it was limited. For the price, should I be happy to get meals included(?)

No electrical kettle in room or hot/cool water machine in every floor. Staffs speak little or no English.

The room was modern and very comfortable including the bathroom facilities.Great beds, super cosy! The location was great being so close to the night market outside and the train station.

The check in - check out felt very blunt.The free breakfast was practically non existent for vegetarians. Options being Pork porridge, chicken Pad Gaprao and or toast with pineapple jam. We asked if they could do some eggs but they couldn’t accommodate this request. Water dispenser in reception appeared to have mold.

Location, great yummie nightmarket for lots of food

Some (not all!!) were not polite of friendly at all, did not feel welcome at all!!

Location, lots and lots of delicious food stalls starting adound 5pm. Modern and clean room.

I did not feel welcome at the hotel. Some of the staff were really unpleasant, no smile at all or anything. I wont come back, it felt so different than im used to in thailand.

Kind of normal hotel without anything special. However, nice night market / food market in front of the hotel. Close to train and local bus station for busses to Sukhotai

Great Location . View of street , City . Very Helpful Staff overall . I needed an extension cord for my Mac laptop charger (as they are too heavy for most , & certainly Thai wall sockets ) they lent me one for a couple of days . Nice . Lighting in the room was good - they had switches on bedside cabinets . Breakfast Included . Decent TV and a Fridge are a bonus .Very Clean . Fresh Towels & Water supplied . Workers were in certain areas of the hotel doing some pretty intensive renovations so the hotel should show some updating / improvements . All in all it's worth the price of admission for location and service . Thank you to all at U Thong .

Great location with many street food vendors at hotel entrance and along the major roadway in front of hotel. Nice breakfast--beyond expectations. Lots of eateries and local cafes next to hotel.

WiFi issues.

Plenty of shops nearby and if you are keen on Thai street food, it's just at the side of the hotel, everyday. However, the hotel is quite old, so don't expect too much.

There was plenty of parking. Breakfast was simple, but I was pleasantly surprised to find whole grain bread. Good air conditioning

Staff is not very good at english. The wifi connection was not strong enough in the room so we had to go to the hallway. Unfortunately, there where a lot of musquitos, the beds and pillows were very hard. And the bath room was not kept clean properly (a lot of stains and soap residu)

Conveniently located 10min walk from train station.

It’s an old hotel, the breakfast included isn’t great, the toilets smell a bit and the air conditioning was extremely loud. Ear plugs recommended!

Location is great. Parking was very convenient.

Bed is hard.

Location was fantastic, 15 mins walk from the train station and right next to the night market. Not far from the river and the running track. Convenience stores very close. Hotel is large and clean with good WiFi. Room very good. Twin beds were comfortable and we could open the windows so didn't need to use the air-conditioning throughout the day. Breakfast was included with as much toast and coffee as I wanted. My partner had the pork and rice porridge which he said was delicious.

No vegetarian choice for breakfast other than toast and jam. Staff didn't speak English and I didn't take my phone down to translate as I would have asked for boiled rice and an egg if possible. Also didn't start until 7am so missed it on our second morning as we had to leave before 7am for the train.

Clean, good location, fast check-in

Breakfast is good.The room price is inexpensive.From the train station, walk 10 minutes to the hotel, then walk 12 minutes to the bus station. i.e., it is in the middle of train station and bus terminal. For me, I arrived by train and needed to take bus the next day, so I chose this hotel. (for those with large luggage, may be inconvenient)

No slipper.

Easy to park my truck. Lots of food stalls outside in the street. Old building but clean. Would stay again

I like breakfast and bed are very comfort.

Nice room, but the most important is its location: the food night market, here everyday, is one of our best memories of Thailand. Highly recommand!
