Hotel is very clean and modern. The restaurant in the evening is very nice.

The breakfast is very expensive and has a very poor selection.

Fantastic second stay at this superb hotel. Very polite and friendly staff. A lovely relaxing and nice bar. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not partake. We will be back again next year.

The hotel was very helpful to me as I was unable to be there during check in hours, they let me drop my luggage at reception early in the day and they brought it up for me themselves so it was in the room for me upon my arrival late that night

Parking was next door and if you forget your ticket, you’re walking back-and-forth.

Breakfast was great. Good selection on offer. We travelled to Gelsenkirchen for the football so location was excellent with the fanzone next door.

The magnetic lock broke on my door late one evening and was still broken when we departed 12 hours later as they had to wait for an engineer to attend. Reception had to let me back into my room on numerous occasions which was a bit of a pain.

Public transport connections were difficult for us.

Gym was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. They assisted, for example, with arranging taxis and the permits that were needed (during the Euros) to access.

Lovely hotel. Really nice food. The staff on the front desk are excellent.The rooms are fitted out very nicely and the gym is really well equipped.

Some more vegeterian options for cooked breakfast would be great.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a long time. As we visit relatives in Gelsenkirchen every year we have now found our favorite hotel to go to, so we will be booking with them again for our next trip.The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly and spoke very good English.As a wheelchair user all aspects of my needs were catered for ie: automatic doors. The room (junior suite) was very spacious as was the on-suite.

Parking was a bit of an issue, as I need to be near the hotel with space around my vehicle. They only have one designated disabled parking space which we got to use 80% of the time.

Modern yet historical context. It's calm. The breakfast is valuable for the price (18,50)

Cleanliness, friendliness of staff and great good/drinks

The bar and restaurant area was nice and I had a delicious Currywurst and chips. My room was well soundproofed and had a nice view over the post-industrial area outside.

A little difficult to find when arriving for the first time. The closure of the A42 didn't help and I ended up driving at night through Bottrop and Gladbeck. Arriving at Bugapark it wasn't clear where the hotel was or where to park.The temperature in my room showed 23.7 degrees. At home I sleep at 15 degrees. There were buttons to increase or decrease the room temperature, but they didn't do anything. I asked the receptionist for help and she kindly came up to the room, but she didn't know how to operate the digital control either. She suggested I left the window open. I did, but two hours later the temperature had only dropped to 23.5. Maybe if I had left the a/c full on for several hours, that might have helped to cool the room, but by then it was too late and I had a poor night's sleep in a stuffy room.
