Arena Hotel

The location is good because near of kfc burger king and mall. Also have a Restaurant inside so for me it is realy good cause i dont need to travel anywhere for searching where i can eat.

In fact, it's a very nice hotel at a more or less reasonable price. Good location to the stadium where I was to work as a photographer. The only thing I didn't like was the Wi-Fi, which didn't actually work on my floor, it kept falling off and there was a weak signal. for me, as a person traveling on business, this was very important. I also didn't like the fact that the walls are quite thin and let other guests in the neighboring rooms snore. But in general, everything was not bad, the bed and room were clean, comfortable beds, and the staff was friendly.

Good size of the room and bathroom.

Rude receptionist. Vague information about late check in. I spent an hour at the front door trying to contact someone from the hotel to check me in.

It was very hot in the room, when I opened the window mosquitoes came in, it was uncomfortable to sleep, the ventilator very noisy.

The bed was very good, the bathroom nice.

There is no mini fridge, no air conditioning, no lift

The closeness to the Arena is great and it was very easy to get to. The property was clean and staff very friendly! Myself and my friend booked single rooms without bathrooms (only available ones for the night we stayed) and I was a bit worried about the shared bathrooms but the set-up was great (3 shared clean and spacious bathrooms on our floor). This property is perfect if you are going to the Arena for an event!

The location is perfect for travelling to watch a game at schalke. The room does the job and I had a good nights rest.

Air con would be nice but the fan in the room did okay.

If going to the Shalke arena this hotel is fabulous. The staff are friendly. Nice breakfast, clean rooms.

The welcome and good service

No fresh fruit for breakfast. Not even one orange, banana, or an apple in the 3 days I had the 12 euro breakfast at hotel.

Staff was excellent, kind and accommodating.Everything was clean.The property provided basic toiletries.There was a dispenser where you could buy water, juice, beer and wine and snacks.

The room had no bathroom. ( My fault I did not read the description accurately)The temperature in the room was on the lower end however it could be adjusted.

Bad guest policy

They didn't allow me to have a guest for just an hour during the day and they were rude about it

Good price for what you get, friendly and welcoming staff. A couple of good food options close by, Japanese restaurant in the building has tasty vegetarian options, too.

My room had basically no WiFi connection. The WiFi reached until there, but I had to reconnect every 30 s or so and this worked only in certain corners of the room. This does not qualify as "available WiFi" to me.Someone that needs the room to be fully dark may not be able to sleep well here, the curtains are a semi-transparent red and let through quite a lot of light.

The Arena Hotel provided great value for money, the perfect location, and made my after hours check-in very easy. As a bonus, there is a sushi restaurant on the ground floor.

large, clean room, large bed. good communication before arrival

the room was very hot when I arrived. No aircon. duvet was tiny, a small single, un/fortunately it was hot in the room. No wifi information in the room. Only German TV.

Cleanliness, space of shower room. Quiet location, no noise. Staff very nice.

Location disappointing, felt like a building site or industrial estate although teenage child loved the prospect of fast food given that a well known burger chain was directly opposite the hotel room.

It's a nice hotel. My room was really large - even the bathroom was huge. The beds were comfy. Free parking around the building. Nothing to complain.

It ain't exactly inexpensive, but that's somehow understandable.

The room was OK, location is close to Veltins Arena. Close to the hotel there is tram station with easy access to the city center and railway station.I was allowed to check-in 3 hours earlier, thank you very much for it.

The bed was too soft for me.
