Super 8 by Wyndham Oberhausen

Friendly staff!

Beds were not comfortable, pillows very flat and rooms too hot.

Perfect location to attened an even in Rudolf Weber arena, go shopping in the Westfield Centro or Legoland or Aquapark. Shop (Lidl), McDonalds, bus stops in walking distance. Easy to get to by bus from Oberhausen bus station. My room was very comfortable, beautifuly decorated, warm (air conditioned) with nice view and very, very clean. The Receptionists were kind and informative. Overall had a extremely pleasant stay.

Clean rooms, affordable rates, and a convenient location near the mall.

During our 2 night stay, our room was never cleaned once. Also, we booked four rooms, and two of them did not have hair dryers. Sound insulation was also poor.

The room was really nice I was really comfortable and everyone was very polite

There was a bit of noise outside the room in the morning but nothing horrible

Clean

Very poor service, towels not changed after two requests. Staff generally unhelpful. Basic rooms are overpriced. Soulless with no atmosphere.

Clean hotel, well located, minimal amenities, decent breakfast

You only had 1 tiny flimsy pillow and when we wanted to go ask a new pillow, they were all gone.So it seems more people needed it. Also parking is 10 euros, but when we entered the barrier was open so we did not get a ticket and we didn know we had to pay for parking also.

We stayed here for a concert in Rudolf Weber Arena, so best location for that. The room has almost everything you need. Very spacious room. Superb breakfast. Comfy bed. Air con. Complimentary water

- Some shelf spaces for clothes were missing- bathroom design is not everyone's cup of tea, because a bit see-through- bathroom was bit overfled with water after showering

Good location. Breakfast was pretty good. Rooms are nice, clean and not too small.

Beds were not too comfortable and especially the pillows. They also did not have any extra pillows for us. Maybe bring your own pillow

Disappointing Experience Due to Lack...

Unfortunately, we lost our money due to a lack of clear communication regarding the hotel's location within a low emission zone. There was no notification at the time of booking indicating that a special emissions sticker was required for our vehicle. Upon arrival, the reception staff were unable to assist and claimed they were unaware of this regulation. It is reasonable to expect hotel staff to be informed about local driving requirements, especially when they directly impact guests' ability to reach the property. I realized the issue within ten minutes of booking, but despite our efforts, no empathy was shown and we were unable to recover the cost. After driving for ten hours without a break, we were met with indifference rather than support. I would not recommend booking this hotel last-minute, particularly for travelers unfamiliar with the area or local regulations.

The staffs are very nice and helpful. The location is very convenient, there are restaurants nearby as well as the shopping mall. The rooms are cleaned and air-conditioning is very cool, very comfortable for warm days staying.Yet they don't have family, we got two connected rooms which is very nice for family with children.

Nice location, pretty new and well equiped

Even though the room seemed clean, I still found a bug in it. The breakfast area, as well as the dishes and cutlery, need a thorough cleaning.

They were so nice and welcoming. Our room was clean and the hotel was very close to the Westfield mall which was very nice. I do recommend it!

The shower door, it was glass and I couldn’t close the door.

Location and staff

Scratches and no bathroom door

Location

In reply to the the response of my review. I booked “adjoining rooms - 1 unit with 4 beds” I did not book two separate rooms. I think this needs to be made clearer on booking.com if this means this is two separate rooms that are not joined, as this is not how the rooms are described. We did ask for more pillows on the night of no bedding and we were told there were no more pillows. I have contacted via email and received no reply. Other rooms in our party were given refunds when there rooms were also incorrect. I would be grateful if someone would contact me about the matter.

Nice and clean, complimentary coffee available in reception. The local restaurants are of really high quality.

I didn't have a hair dryer in my room and just 1 pillow which was not enough. We travelled with a large group and everyone had the same complaint. Would also have been nice to have tea/coffee in the room.

Great location.Nice staff. The rooms were clean.

The rooms were very small. There is no closent. The access the the parking is not so comfortable when it is raining.

Nice room, quiet hotel and nice area.

They firstly told us that we can get the keys in advance if we register on their website but when we got there around 11:00 am they did not have any clean rooms available. Parking was not free, it cost us 10€ to use the hotel parking spot. Alternatively we could use some unsecured parking for free behind the hotel parking. We also saw a bug in our room, although the room was very clean altogether.

Location good not far from the main center

For what we paid it was adequate spent with family and friends so was very enjoyable

Updated facilities and access to activities within walking distance.

Paid for breakfast which was subpar and lackluster!

I did not take breakfast, but the environment was really good. The only difference i see was pay for parking your car...which i feel is not good....if I come to the said hotel I should be very happy that while I am save in my hotel room so likewise my car if inventually i came with my car. Not parking car somewhere else of not sure if my car is safe.

The room, toilet and bathroom, the bed was really comfortable. Internet service was very good.
