Hotel Residenz Oberhausen

Cleanliness, kindness of staff, 10 min walk to the main train station, working wifi

Main light in the room was not working; Around 4:00 AM something started buzzing, ruining my sleep for the rest of the night ...

Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast.

Parking is limited, but it wasn’t a big issue.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff, great facilities, clean and accessible. The car park is very handy and the breakfast varied and tasty. The room is quite spacious. Centric location. Recommended!

The beds were too soft for my preference. Otherwise very clean and well cared for.

Breakfast tasty and good quality. Nice, clean rooms with enough space. Comfy beds. Flexibility in leaving stuff already in the room before it was ready. Great shower ?

Everything was fine, nothing to complain about ?

Great location, big room, kitchen

Pillows were too soft, room was a bit cold, the hotel sign glowed directly into our room

We stayed for one night and everything was petfect. Nice clean room, friendly staff, very good breakfast.

Everything! The service was great, big room with fridge and microwave, good playroom, fantastic breakfast. Great housekeeping.

Only 1 receptionist who answered a little rude when asking quetions.

service was amazing, beds are soft and it’s very dog friendly!

there’s nothing i didn’t like.

A very clean, nice and comfortable hotel, perfect for one night stay.Very nice staff

Rooms look a bit dated.

Staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spaceous, and the beds were quite comfortable (despite the small duvets, but that seems to be an issue in entire Germany).Breakfast was good, although some more warm items would have been nice. The hotel also had its own big parking lot, but as that was complete because of many guests, we could park about 100m from the hotel for free.

Nothing really. The room was a bit old fashioned, but no reason for ot going there again.

Easy check in, nice and spacious room, great location. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and neat. I only stayed for one night but I wished I could've stayed longer. The price is fair for what you get.

Staff were very helpful.

While most of the facility was very clean, fresh and well kept, the hallways seemed as if they could ua bit of a refresh.

Nothing! We arrived late so we did had no choice but to sleep there but in the next day we check-out to other location.

Everything was so dirty and it smelled urine all over. I whased everything in the bathroom, but I could not get the smell out! We left the window open but nothing and when we came back you could not breathe in the room. The mattresses were too soft and the carpets, chairs, curtains, bathroom, doors, everything was really dirty!I payed for 3 nights not refundable but even I’ve lost my money, I was sooo happy to get out of there.

Friendly and helpful staff and free parking

We didnt really use room only to sleep in as didnt have much time. No Air Con so rooms were unbearably hot. Fans were provided but were of little use. Lighting awful and decor drastically needs updating. Didnt have breakfast included so can not comment on it

Very good

In some rooms the bathroom doors do not shut completelyParking limited (yes you can park by the street, but this costs - not ideal if you want to leave your car and move around using public transport)

The area is well located near city's centre. Plenty of bars near. Easy access to main roads. Extremely transgender friendly, they are the gold standard on how an hotel should be.

Don't get a room on the top floor on the sun side; it's a sauna there. No air-conditioning

Stayed for taylor swift concert in Gelsenkirchen. Bed was comfortable, and all normal amenities were there

No AC, and winter blankets on the bed. Shower was clean, but not spotless

easy to findclose to railway station, shops24 hrs service reception

Great room and bed. Staff helpful and friendly

Rooms have excellent facilities for the money - en-suite, fridge, microwave and kitchen utensils TV etc.
