Location was great with easz access to the Danube, decent breakfast

Despite booking a room with the view to the river, by the time we cheked in the onlz remaining room was with a view to the technical facilites behind the hotel - so i guess it was just our luck :(Note that there is parking available but their number is limited, not even for 5% of the hotel rooms.

I had the business suite with balcony and a view of the Danube, which was decent in size. The bed was comfortable and sheets were fine. It was generally clean and quiet. The location is very good, with great views of the Danube. If all you need is a place to crash, then this is fine. The staff seemed all right.

The gym was cartoonishly terrible. They must have bought it used from some guy's basement in the 1980's. It's just lip service to the idea of a gym, so the hotel can check an amenity box for the extra star; this is not a 4* hotel. It's a 2* at best, and is overpriced for what it is. While the hotel was built in the early 2000s, it still feels like a cheap, communist building, and though I don't care for the term "provincial," this place encapsulates the meaning well.

the heating in the room did not work, it took the staff 3-4 hours to move me in another room, about 5 calls to reception. In the morning they did not have an invoice ready though I gave them all company details and had to pay at check in, I had to really insist that they give those to me. Insulations are poor on windows, lighting is poor, the restaurant is well below average, overall very expensive for no quality.

Nice location and great room!

No A/C in the room! Turned on the A/C and heat turned on! Called the reception and told me that's how it is this time of year(november). I run hot and in the room were 25°Celsius which is very high.

Wonderful braekfast.Very good restaurant both with very friendly and helpful service crew.

Staff continues to present a negative attitude and refer to the stress of hotel activities such as guests checking out, to explain their short tone and poor attitude. Last time I stayed at Vega, also due to business in the area, I found insects in my bed (the type with hard shells, to put it that way) and once I shared the info (and photo) with the receptionist, absolutely no action was taken to accommodate my stay in any way. I returned simply due to room availability and location, which the delegation I travelled with, favoured. Encountering poor client manager once again has made me much less inclined to return.

The breakfast was very poor. Starting with the food quality and services. We arrive at the breakfast and were no plates. No table to sit. The water tanker was a mess. Food tested bad. The receptionist woman was rude, resembling with a prison guard calling and checking if we consume anything from the minibar even if we said what was used. The toilet tank from the room was broken. Sometimes works sometimes now. I will not recommend this hotel. Expensive but cheap services.

The Vega Hotel is located in an easily accessible location with great food right across the street along the river. The hotel is very clean and the air conditioning is wonderful (For US travelers, finding a hotel room that cools the entire room is difficult at times). The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good also.

There isn’t much parking on the property, but it was easy to find parking across the street.
