Ramada by Wyndham Plovdiv Trimontium

Room was upgraded. Breakfast was great, had everything I needed and I like.I loved the Altimbas diamond jewelry store in the lobby.Front desk guys were helpful, they called for a taxi a few times for me. Definitely Ramada Trimontium will be my go to syay hotel every time when in Plovdiv from now on ( I go once a year(

Room, breakfast, location

The Trimontium was built in the 1950s and has a classic Stalinist style of grand architecture, large spaces, and solidity. Hallways are wide, staircases are grand, and the rooms are triple the size of today’s hotels. We could see Roman ruins outside our window. The garden restaurant used to be one of the best “see and be seen” of the Bulgarian elite in the old days. The pool in the basement has Roman ruins, and beautiful new mosaics. Parking right out front. Breakfast was full and good. The young staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well.

It’s a bit worn around the edges, and could use some sprucing up and renovation. Some of the furniture in the room was about 20 years old. The access to the basement pool could be clearer. We were disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed (hopefully for renovation), as it was summer and hot outside.

Everything ! Cold room dirty moldy bathroom that floods after you take a shower .The spa was out of order an they told us that at check if i knew before hand i wouldnt have even booked it from the start .

Aside from the spacious room, nothing nice to say here. Outdated, unpleasant, cold.. Old and uncomfortable beds & furniture, stained carpet, dirty bathroom. Smell of cigarettes & toilette even in the foyer.

Bathrooms are very old and uncomfortable. Otherwise they are clean.

The stains from coffee on the wall, the faucet that was holding only on the pipes, the missing deadbolt on the room door, the shower that you could only use if you hold the shower head because all the holders were either broken or vertically straight so the water was running into the wall. The stains in the bathtub, the questionable stains on the ceiling.

Awesome location 5 minutes walk from a beautiful park and some of the main restaurants, stores, bars, and historical romance architecture. The staff was very friendly and spoke enough English for us to get by. The room was much bigger than I expected and in good condition. The only cleanliness issue was that the carpets in the hallways of the 3rd floor had enormous stains on them as if someone had poured an entire jug of something out. Didn't bother me at all since my room was plenty clean. The price was unbeatable.

The outdoor pool was broken or drained for whatever reason which was unfortunate. Also parking is a bit of a pain because the lot is very limited in size. But other than that, the place was great.

Location

We booked 4 night in the hotel through Booking.com. We left the hotel in the morning, after the first night. We requested a cancelation through Booking.com, which was forwarded for approval by the hotel, which was denied BY THE HOTEL. So, for one night stay, we were charged 1137.92 leva!!!

Classy but old fashioned hotel at perfect location with a perfect casino inside. very good breakfast with relatively acceptable Lavazza beans (blended, but Lavazza).

car park might be complicated with the one infront of the hotel. curtain in the room is not enough to block the sunshine.

There is no parking space for motorcycles. There is a parking area in front of the hotel, but it is operated by the municipality and they do not accept motorcycles. The hotel does not offer any assistance whatsoever. This is something motorcycle travelers should take into consideration.

Great location. Polite staff. They allowed us to check in earlier than the stated check-in time. The indoor pool is very nice.

I would recommend some variety in the breakfast served because it was the same every morning.

The room that we stay close the road. İt was too noisy, i couldnt sleep well in my three night stay. Terrible experience

Casino and location

No Parking! And It needs to be renovated

I am extremely pleased with the restaurant and the restaurant manager (Pepi Todorova) is incredible and always responds and makes sure everything is comfortable.

There is a serious parking problem. Breakfast is slightly above average.

ı expect more than they have. ıt was just a regular breakfast like a 3 star hotel. the location is perfect. you can walk to the centre of city.

If you travel by car, parking is a major problem. ı waited 20 minutes to enter the parking space. the parking workers are so slow and rude. the hotel has only 20 parking space and they charge you %50 of 30 BGN. At least they should give this free because the hotel is not a cheap one.
