Old Legends Hotel

The hotel was very charming - individual in style, and comfortable. Good and friendly service and excellent included breakfast. Location in the old town.

We loved everything about this place. Staff was wonderful. Our 2 BR was charming and very comfortable. Perfect location to explore Plovdiv.

Naci, Jordan and Lidia were amazingly accommodating staff. They let us check in early and hold bags late. Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is perfect for walking Old Town Plovdiv.

Everything was perfect.

I wish they had provided parking instruction in advance so we won’t waste time and energy to figure out how to access the hotel ( old town roads are complicated)

Beautiful old building in a perfect location in the heart of Plovdiv's Old Town. We arrived by car but returned it and would not have wanted to deal with parking at this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated in the style of the building and quite grand. We arrived early and were allowed to check in, which we greatly appreciated. From the hotel, you can easily walk to all tourist sites.

Nothing, really. We were sorry that their restaurant was no long open, as we heard repeatedly that it had been the best restaurant in Polvdiv. We can highly recommend Mayriges, an outstanding Lebanese restaurant in the Kapanna area of Plovdiv.

A nice small hotel, in the old town of Plovdiv, a very interesting place to wander and explore the history of the ancient city .It is comfortable hotel with nice antique vibe, with a reasonable breakfast. Recommeded if you have a spare day to spend in town.

The hotel is not what it seems on the pictures on booking.com, which is often the case, its smaller and less luxurious but still comfortable and a reasonable price.

The location was great, in the old town of Plovdiv, very close to Kapana neighborhood. The rooms were spacious (we rented 2 bedrooms apartment). The staff was friendly and helpful.

We were greeted by a helpful man who assisted us with our luggage. Rooms were everything we hoped for. Authentic antique Bulgarian furniture in an historic building. Stunning, intricate woodwork. Elegant parlor. New extremely comfortable mattresses, good breakfast and caring staff. Superb location. Great water pressure. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect.The room was charming, ancient-style, but with modern facilities. Vibrant and good breakfast. The host is very friendly and helpful.

There is no option for tea and coffee making in the room.

Charming hotel-rooms in old style , it feels like get back to the old times .The location is in the “Old Town” area , every populair places of interests are nearby ,The roman theatre about 250 m ,behind and surrounding the hotel many ancient houses . the Food-streets about 70 meters walking distance ,also the shopping area

The breakfast could have been better , it’s boring ; the “fried eggsss” are cold , should put them in Buffet warmer - Warming plate, we got cold “fried eggs “ .

Since being taken over and having a name change , the atmosphere is different ?Although we had a lovely greeting from a lady, we had a surly male member of staff throughout our stay who never smiled or engaged with us which spoiled the atmosphere ! Beware, there is no air conditioning or night porter( don’t lock yourself out !!)

It’s one of the best places i’ve ever stayed. I constantly travel the world and this is in my top 3 without a doubt. The history the location, its a must see. I had the honey moon sweet and it’s very private and very romantic. The surrounding area is exceptional and you can with a short walk get to Kapana for food drink and night life.

A lovely hotel located in a beautiful part of Plovdiv. Convenient to the sites of the city. It is traditionally decorated which makes it really unique. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Thoroughly recommended.

My mother and I stayed here and spent christmas with each other in this beautiful town and more importantly this amazing hotel! We absolutely loved our stay here. The breakfast was perfect and yummy in the cozy downstairs restaurant. Our room was just the right size and fit for us. Everything was clean, and, you could tell how well they take care of the property. The staff was kind and always happy to help. The location is exactly right, the hotel is inside the Old Town, and, in just a 5min walk in one direction, you're at the heart of the town were you'll find bars, restaurants and cute/cozy coffee shops. In the other direction you have museums, shops, antique stores and the most beatiful walk ever. We were so happy with this stay! I loved how happy this made my mother, we will definetly be recommending this place and hopefully get to visit it again soon!

Everything was perfect.

A unique historical building - so many delightful antiques - an incredible experience. Used to be know as Hebros - it's a wonderful place to stay. We were lucky to get a 2 bed apartment space. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Old Hotel, as advertised! Area around is Old City, with plenty of sights, things to do, and places to eat.

Getting to property is extremely confusing if your not familiar with the area, need gate access to get into the neighborhood with car. The streets are old stone, awesome for the scenery and experience but if you require assistance with mobility, wheelchair, stroller, etc, you will have a hard time getting around.

Very hard to find took a lot no one had heard the name. Had to pay 20 lev a night to park which was not a problem other than not told until arriving at the hotel. Booking.com no parking so asked told yes we have parking. But no mention of a fee. Until arriving. Breakfast not good. Very little to pick from and decided other than cups of tea not to bother. This was when booked supposed to be 5star then told it had lost this but Thourt it must still be up there. Then told it had chainged names. But still had expiration of something special. As before room was lovely but breakfast and car parking charge let it down. Sorry

There was no water,or coffee and tea making facilities. One had to go to reception to get a glass of water. Because we paid for an antique room, the room was very dark and the furniture although old did not have a great deal of charm. More instructions on how to reach the hotel would have been useful and no taxi driver was prepared to go in case they wrecked their tyres on the cobbles. Once we got our bearings the walk into Plovdiv town was easy

The location of the hotel is expeptionel. Also nice to stay in a hotel from the period.

Staying in a hotel from the 19th century does not mean that one can skip general maintainance.
