The people were very friendly, easy parking.

I had a lovely time at the hotel. The room was very cosy and warm, and the people were very helpful and friendly. The location is great, and everything you need is within walking distance. Great place!

Great location for very reasonable price. Be mindful of the street parking. It's a cobble stone street, very steep grade, and very narrow because of the other parked cars. Recall which way to turn the wheels when parking uphill.

The toilet tank and the flush mechanism needed some maintenance. Had to remove to tank cover and pull the flush lever from the inside.

Large room, close to center

Heating not working well, side light spoiled, 3rd floor no elevator. No TV instructions few stations only in Bulgarian language.

There were no breakfast, the location was the only good thing.

The room was dirty, with stains on the carpet, peeling plaster everywhere, it smelled terribly of cigarettes, the bathroom was uninviting, with rusty taps. No cupboards, wardrobe, fridge, only one bed. The worst thing is that you have to wait 10 minutes for the water to run out for hot water to come (not boiling). The only positive thing I can say is that it has a good location and from my room the view. There was no internet, I was on the top floor, it kept disconnecting me from the network, there was no TV, only one channel!

As a 2 - 3 star hotel, the Whitehouse exceeded our expectations. We liked many things to name a few:- We got a room on the 4th floor with a breathtaking view of Plovdiv.- 5 min walk from the Roman Stadium, the Mosque and Tourist Info office.- Big and clean bathroom, towels.- Extremely comfy bed, covers and pillows.- Carpeted floor and big TV set, enough sockets, lamp by the bed- hot water everytime of the day and AC which is crucial during cold winter days :)

There wasn't anything we didn't like, having in mind it is a 2 or 3 star hotel. Even if there was, the hosts were very hospitable, making our stay wonderful. For instance, the host provided us with extra small portable electric heater. There weren't any coffee cups (onky glasses) and electric ketel in the room, but when we asked, they kindly provided them. Moreover, there weren't any programs on TV, but luckily we brought our lap top so we watched some movies during the night. The cupboard and small fridge were just outside of the room, but we didn't need them. The entry to the terrace is from the bathroom, but that was OK, since the view was marvelous.

The location was unbeatable: it's just a short walk from Kapana and the Roman Amphitheater, where we attended a Nick Cave gig. So I was even happier with the extremely comfortable beds once we got home happy but exhausted at midnight! Great value! The staff were friendly and helpful and truly love their city, which is what you want when you stay somewhere. (Well I do)

This was our second stay at the hotel, and once again, it exceeded our expectations.Everything was spotless, the staff were exceptionally friendly, and the location—right in the heart of Plovdiv—couldn’t be better. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return again!

Wifi was too slow in the room. The staff was not so good. Heating was not working, managed with AC.. I didn't feel the value for money..

I left so early, I didn't request breakfast. This facility is in the romantic giant cobble locked streets only 3 or 400 meters from the city centre's main square, but you feel like you are away in a remote country village because of its location 150 meters off the main thoroughfare. It is very centrally located as you are within a 25/30 minute walk from the town's main central train/bus station to the south and also the North bus station the opposite direction.

Very nice small hotel in a quiet area, very comfy beds, great view from the room. It was perfect for my 1-night stay. Good value for the price.

The only thing I didn't like was the shower, which was attached to the sink, but I believe this isn't the case for all of the rooms, I booked the smallest possivle as I was traveling alone.

Really kind people and location is perfect, the rooms were great! Its perfect place to stay in Plovdiv.

Location was amazing. Just 5 mins away from the city center, big grocery store and restaurants. Parking is free on this street which is a great bonus for the center.

We visited in February so it was cold outside but the room was a bit chilly even though the AC was on the whole time on 27 degrees. Had to turn the AC off during the night as it was very noisy so in the morning the room was cold and took quite some time to warm up again. The bathroom floor was wet the whole time, it seems like water was leaking from somewhere. Also, after shower the whole bathroom is wet as the shower is in the center of it. We didn't bring any slippers and the hotel didn't provide any so after shower the bathroom was unusable for some time.
