Close location to rail and ferry. Also, front desk staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. They were definitely a ten!

Right across train station, 5 minutes from ferry, right at start of large airy pedestrian road leading to old part. Room had high ceilings , balcony overlooking piazza. Breakfast included eggs made to order.

Shower a bit awkward but was very minor

The hotel is super easy to find because it's right opposite the train station. The breakfast is amazing with so many options and delicious food.

Staff excellent. Breakfast very good. Very close to train station with Catholic church across the plaza. Also close to port for Amalfi coast ferry. We stayed here in May also and returned 30 NOV.

Great hotel across from train station. Perfect location near water and on main shopping street in Salerno. Fabio at front desk was fantastic! Would highly recommend staying here.

Excellent location on the same plaza as the train station. Also, close to ferries. Perfect for exploring the area, Amalfi coast, etc. Excellent restaurants nearby. Salerno was a pleasant surprise. Great breakfast, friendly staff. We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Plaza. Best choice we could have made.

Convenient location - steps from the train station and 10 min from ferry terminal. Super clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

This property is a gem! Great location across from Train Station and at the foot of the main pedestrian promenade with a large selection of eateries and shops. A 10 minute walk to the ferry port for a quick trip to Amalfi. Rooms are rustic but comfortable. The breakfast is amazing! Incredible selection of pastry and breakfast items (this is not an American breakfast, so don’t expect bacon & eggs!) - probably the nicest European breakfast I’ve had. The staff is wonderful - friendly and accommodating. Already planning our return!

Extremely well-located across from the transit center and on the main concourse, just a few blocks to the ferries and accessible to everything Salerno has to offer. Excellent breakfast in a home-like atmosphere.

The location is fantastic, allowing easy access to the train station, port, buses, and many shops/ restaurants. The staff is amazing!

The room was small. Uncomfortable. Depressing. Dark. On the first floor.Had a small window looking into a rubbish filled alley.

Property very clean, staff very friendly. Breakfast had a wide variety . Ladies at the espresso counter nice.

We cannot say enough good things about Hotel Plaza It is right next to Salerno's train station where buses also stop. It is a 10 minute walk to the ferries which go to many coastal towns, as well as the islands Capri and Ischia. The breakfast is abundant with fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham,, eggs,, etc.. Abundant croissants and cakes. Bread, toast. Juice, coffee cappuccino, tea.The staff is very attentive and helpful. The rooms are large and airry. With very comfortable beds. Excellent bathroom and toiletries provided. The hotel is on the pedestrian Corso, which has many cafes and restaurants. It is a 15 minute walk to the Old City. And just a thought a short walk down to the sea and Lungomare.
