Novotel Salerno Est Arechi

The rooms are small with very limited extras. This was a real non-event hotel. It’s saving grace was being close to the marina, which is what I wanted.

The key operation for the elevator was off and on.

Everything we will be back it is very nice just a little drive from downtown where it is crazy packed love it here we extended our stay

Nope it was perfect for us

I was on a business trip and the location was good as I was leaving by car the morning after

I could not open the window and the atmosphere was not too cozy, but ok for a business trip

The staff was very hospitable.

The air conditioning was poor and when i tried to open the windows , there were mosquitoes.

Breakfast was good.

Everything else. Room very dingy and needs some serious updates. Felt very dirty. Very disappointed. Definitely not worth the money. Complimentary water would have been nice. Not impressed.

Restaurant staff rude and arrogant I witnessed a full on argument with a guest who was being treated quite poorly

The room was hot. The beach is a little walk down the street.

Clean simple place, like a UK premier inn style place. Quiet, supermarket round the corner to get great food from and 3 local restaurants nearby to get great food and much cheaper.

The menu in the restaurant on site is overpriced and no lunch menu just a dinner menu twice a day. Long walk into town from here and the beach opposite is not accessible, you have to walk over a mile to get to it. So dont go by the map location. Go out for food and drinks much cheaper. Choose room only. The shower in the room floods the bathroom floor as the screen isnt properly installed and the cleaning staff come in even though you tell them no cleaning required. Overpriced as well and would have gone with a hotel downtown to make better use with the kids to see everything in town.

Once the sofa bed was open to cater for 4 people there was no room at all to open suitcases so would be very inconvenient if staying for a longer period of time. Shower in bath tub which isn’t ideal either

We had multiple rooms for 6 family members. Great space to congregate.Restaurant delicious and good value.Get the breakfast!

The room is large and clean. Breakfast is good as expect for novotel. Free car park for hotel guest.

The hotel exterior is look old but hotel interior still ok. The location is far from city center but this is no problem for us. We rent cars.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful, free parking on site.

We used many times of Novotel around Europe, never met one so cheap if I may use a proper word. They only provide 2 paper cups, no cups in the toilets for wash your mouth.

Breakfast was pretty good!

We wanted to upgrade our room to a suite and pay the extra but the lady at the reception told us it is not possible. We could upgrade our room only if we pay the full price of the suite and we would have lost the money we paid for the normal room. Strange.Suite room was not available on booking.com but it was available at the hotel.

Except for the bath tube that was in bad condition, the room was clean, spacious and agreeable. The hotel is located east of Salerno, on the beach. You will need a taxi to the city center. Breakfast was industry standard, no complaints.

The bath tube needs replacement.
