During the storm, we heard a dripping sound like there was a leak in the roof!

It’s a comfort small butique hotel very close to Lapaz market .Just a few steps away to the legendary Madge cafe.

The place is clean. And some of the staff are quite accomodating.

Size of our room exceeds our expectation. Kind support of the staff in guiding us what places to visitin Iloilo is exceptional. Location is best in tasting the original La Paz batchoy and visit to Faro Cathedral.

Entrance is block by vehicles , might be a temporary constraint due to the construction of the market.

The ambiance of the place is authentic, the staff were excellent.

Breakfast options are limited and almost all of them has some sort of pork.

The place is very comfortable and clean and the location is very convenient and accessible. There's JD bakeshop at the ground floor, across is the La Paz Public Market for fresh fruits, the original la paz batchoy, 80-yr old traditional coffee at Madge cafe. Nearby is mercury drug for pharmacy and essentials, and Robinsons mall, SM City Iloilo, and Festive Mall is a short ride/drive away. Great wifi too! Some of us had to work remotely and there was no problem attending meetings and sending files over.

it has a class with European architecture. The presentation of the ambience offers unique to the hotel brand while still creating a warm, welcoming mood. Staff are very welcoming and affordable. Downstairs, there is a JD Bakeshop in case you get hungry and walking distance to a nearby mall.

Surroundings, not the best in Iloilo. Very poor and dark surroundings, nothing to do in the evening or at night. Not dangerous as it seam (pretty dark). Had Batchoy at mini restaurant late at night just in front of hotel and had a beer in a very little bar with natives spending their evening. Very very nice and friendly persons. Day time is fine as there is the market and a Mall at walking distance. There is a huge construction going on, so a bit noisy in the morning. Beware to the non smoking ban on most of the streets in Iloilo. Air is very polluted (and water and so on) but don't dare to smoke, you'll be fined.

Very good staff very helpful

Drain in my shower didn't drain recept in the bathroom I have no power.Karaoke next door two nights kept me up till 3:00 in the morning.On the side note the staff went and talked to the people and the third night the karaoke was not as loud

Short walk to a small mall

Don't eat next door at the market I got sick from bad food. A few things are still shut down from covid

Front lady staff.We can not book thru counter for the after 4 days.She instructed us by thru phone call reservation only.But when we try to book by phone call, it is very difficult to book.We decided to book another hotel.

Excellent accommodating staff, great location just across from the mall, restaurants and outside market.

The bed was a little hard, but not by asian standards, a bit noisy outside, but it was the holidays, so to be expected.

The hotel was very clean and is close to the mall and a BPI bank with an ATM.

During our stay it was very windy. The glass doors to the balcony aren’t sealed well so they were very noisy.

Hospitality , the people on the front desk are amazingly helpful. The breakfast was very full filling and yummy. Loved the view from the room always opt for king size bed room has an awesome view.

More variety in the breakfast menu and please add coffee or tea.

I like where the Grand dame hotel was located. It is very accessible to almost everything you need- from food, transpo, botika etc. The hotel is very close to the public market wherein you can find budget foods and cafe (I’m talking about madge cafe- their coffee is way better than any other expensive coffee shops plus you can get your iced coffee with just 60php. Super affordable!!)

The place is beautiful with a friendly helpful staff. We rented a suite and it was larger than most apartments.. Huge bathroom and shower, a sitting area with sofa, table, chairs, armoire, mini-fridge, coffee maker and coffee..Wi-fi was lightning fast in the room as well as the lobby.. nice secure area for our motorcycle the staff even loaned me a screwdriver to fix the battery on my bike..There is a mall less than 100 meters away as well as a Jollibee..

Just a couple of things that is really not the fault of the property .. There is major demolition going on directly beside the place, so for now expect to hear jackhammers and dump trucks at daylight..The intersection in the front is a little complicated if there is no traffic personnel there... The other - From what I can tell the food for the restaurant is catered by a restaurant next door.. Many items on the menu are not available for breakfast..For room service it was the same story , no availability.. he food that we did get was just awful and I mean AWFUL...Thankfully there is a Jollibee just a block away...
