Casa Costera, Isla Verde Beach, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy

This is new hotel and everything is clean and new. This is apartment, so have kitchen but the nice surprise was the washer and dryer include all the material that you need. Location is good and there is parking in the hotel

The hotel is a few steps from the beach. Hotel room was spacious. Rooftop restaurant and bar had good food and drinks and the view was spectacular.

My room (405) had extremely poor air and carpet quality. Upon entering, I was immediately met with a strong odor of mold and noticeable dusty air. As someone with significant allergies to dust and mold, this was especially concerning and made the room very uncomfortable to stay in. I requested a room change, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. Staff placed an ozone purifier in the room, which helped reduce the mold odor, but the air remained dusty and difficult to tolerate. I was genuinely worried about triggering an asthma attack and even considered sleeping on the balcony for fresh air. I tolerated the 1 night stay by mostly being outside the room. It was very disheartening to pay almost $400/night for a room that i couldn't relax in and enjoy. I am seriously dissappointed with my stay at Casa Costera in room 405. Management: The carpet and AC filter in room 405 clearly need to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. It is unfair to offer this room in exchange was someone's hard earn money.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Love that there is a balcony and our room had a partial ocean view which was beautiful. The rooftop is awesome chill vibe with hot tub, pool, and restaurant. The bathrooms were extremely clean and towels very plush. In a great location. Staff is very nice! One of the best Marriott’s I have stayed in.

Surrounding buildings are a bit decrepit. The housekeeping does not come daily to take out trash or refresh towels, but will come if you ask!

Very spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Yummy rooftop restaurant.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Made several recommendations of places to try while there. Also loved the free laundry service with detergent included. Would stay here agin

The outside surrounding was sore on the eye but wasnt a deal breaker. The hotel seems out of place.

The apartment was cozy, great amenities the pool, jacuzzi, and bar was great. The drinks were a bit pricey. The location was great near beach and restaurants close by. The staff was welcoming and very helpful

Finding parking at night because the hotel lot was usually full and had to park in there other lot across the street from the hotel

Loved it here clean and in a great location no extra charge for parking

The cleanliness and the friendliness of this place is one of the best Marriott experiences that I've had.

We didn't care for Puerto Rico as a whole, but this place with the stretch of beach that is in front of it, are my favorite!

Location. It was very close to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Front desk staff is super friendly and very helpful. We got in early and they were able to accommodate an early check in. We had an ocean view room and it was beautiful. It is important to know that all of the rooms are a “partial ocean view” no matter what you book, but I was still pleased with the view that I had. the room was clean, although there was an odor of cigarettes (or something), that came and went occasionally. Sometimes the room is “damp” but you’re in PR, so that climate is expected. the bathroom is spacious. The water is pressure was great and the water was hot. However there is not a fan in the bathroom to de-steam it; as a girl hair that gets frizzy hair really easily, this is a downfall, but everything else has been great so I let it slide! The rooftop bar, pool, and casual restaurant upstairs, is a vibe! We didn’t check it out much bc we were too busy exploring and out but it was lovely the few times we went up to take a quick photo. There were many places to eat and hang out along with many other resort style hotels within walking stance. Ubers are plentiful and that is what we used as transportation (aside from walking). Two beaches in walking distance and both very lovely. The beach chair vouchers were a huge bonus!

The ac is controlled by management and it was uncomfortably cold.GPS was not correct from the airport. It took us out of the way!

Close proximity to the beach, grocery store and many restaurants. Had dinner at the rooftop restaurant and enjoyed the views. Having access to a washer and dryer was very convenient.

The hot tub that was advertising doesn’t work. That was a big reason why I booked.

I like that the property was low in cost because it was on a special and now I see why.

This was my mother’s first flight and first vacation. 1. I didn’t like the fact that we got scammed by paying in card for an uber and then asked to pay in cash and the hotel staff assured us that paying twice was normal and we can just dispute the charges later with uber. That is not normal and I felt like they were running a scam with the uber driver .2. The pool area was not clean all the time. There was food near where you swim as if no one cleaned up regularly, however there were staff present. 3. They don’t tell you about the $30 room fee per night until you arrive.4. One of the elevators was out of order for a full two days. 5. You have to use a key card to get up and down the elevator 6. The hotel is on a one-way street and made getting around extremely difficult for any drivers to locate us. 7. They cannot control the guests, we had a loud party one floor above us that were also throwing things out of the window down to private homes below and we had to deal with them all night even after we complained to hotel staff. 8. Only the staff on the weekends were friendly. They assume you don’t speak Spanish and speak around you in a disrespectful manner when you are present. 9. No one checked the dishes that were giving to us. They had been placed in the cabinet wet and of the bowls were full of water. 10. We let them know that we had a party of 3 and we never had enough towels and wash clothes for 3 people, even upon arrival. 11. Checking in a 4 is a waste of time because you wasting half of your money and the day waiting to check in so late.

The ocean view is limited and also overlooks an egregious eye sore of two other apartment buildings. For a morning breakfast (or anything) on the balcony, it is not a pleasant sight.

Everything!! The balcony was awesome it’s San overall good place near a nice beach. Also did my laundry which was a huge plus for me.

The location was good close to a lot of restaurants and also super close to the beach. I felt very safe the rooftop view and amenities were nice.
