    Pros +

    • A low-cost basic breakfast is served here and there are a few other options a five-minute walk downhill, including Wolfee''s board-gaming cafe, which is rather interesting and with very helpful English-speaking staff. For serious food - at serious prices - you cannot beat Moon Restaurant just a bit further on at the corner of the road that descends from the hilltop Casanova. The bedrooms here are large and pleasant-each one with a balcony - and the beds are soft and welcoming, especially in Dalat's uncompromisingly cool to cold climate.
    • It's a small and cozy boutique hotel where each room has its own unique charm, and the decor and views will absolutely captivate you. Plus, they also have super clean dorm rooms that can make anyone with any budget happy. The hotel's location is in the best spot in the city, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and since the hotel is situated on a hill, the lobby and cafe-restaurant area are bright and airy with an amazing view of the city.I spent two nights in their best room with a private wooden bathtub overlooking the city, and also one night in a dorm room. I absolutely loved their Vietnamese breakfasts, cappuccinos, and the matcha they served.I'm sure you'll thoroughly enjoy your stay at this beautiful boutique hotel!
    • Super clean and spacious dorm, had everything you could want and need.

    Cons -

    • First floor and reception had fast 5G but upper rooms suffered from intermittent Wi-Fi. The staff-members spoke English but were generally Uni students who took their studies very seriously!
    • The bed in the dorm was very hard compared to other hostels I’ve stayed in.
    • The only thing I’d say is that the Netflix didn’t work on the smart TV in the private bedroom which was a little uncomfortable but that’s it

Wow! First I’ll start by saying the lobby and the hotel itself is beautiful. There’s a cafe at the entrance and beautiful city view! I’d like to thank the girl at the reception who I believe was the manager, who checked me in and was so polite and welcoming? I spent a night at the dorms which was really wonderful and I’ve met new friends, and the second day I’ve had a private bedroom with a view which was no less than a 5 stars hotel bedroom! Everything was clean and comfortable. Thank you very much. I recommend you to arrive here, whatever accommodation you’ll choose will be great here. Also, there’s an elevator! BTW: there’s no AC but you don’t need it, it’s not hot at night and there’s a fan for those who need extra air and a balcony! (Also at the dorms and the private room with the balcony)

The only thing I’d say is that the Netflix didn’t work on the smart TV in the private bedroom which was a little uncomfortable but that’s it

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—everything is easily accessible, and the views from both the room and the bar are absolutely stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the entire hotel was spotless.

The only downside was that the mattresses were quite firm, which might not be ideal for everyone. However, overall, I can highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The view is amazing. A very quiet hostel, i wouldn't recommend if you want to socialise, but excellent if you want some alone time.

The lockers don't work. Staff don't offer the service to book your next bus to the next location.

I've made a booking for the Queen room with Patio for 2 days, which was nice, the room wasn't as cold as expected. Stay was decent. Bed was comfy for a good rest

I've extended a day stay, and messaged the hotel 3-4 das ahead of time and all they had was a family room, I asked for a balcony which they agreed, I've also agreed to a higher price. After arrival and payment, I found out the room was not with balcony. And instead it was in the middle of the hotel. This was the worst spot you can be in...... EVERY PERSON that walked on the lobby, coming down stairs, going to the other room.... it can all be heard.... That room should not be a room..... it's insane how much noise it can be till 23:00-00:00..... Its in the B level Room 101....avoid it at all cost.... even if you have to change a hotel.... do not get this room.

I loved the room - I had a deluxe double with bath. The bath was lovely and deep and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel is in a pretty building, in an area close to town but quiet. It’s kept very clean, and the staff are really friendly. Comfy bed too and plenty of sockets for charging devices.

There were a few details that were confusing or could be improved. For instance, although there was a kettle in the room there were no cups with handles for making tea, or any tea bags or coffee/hot chocolate sachets. Considering how cold Dalat can be in winter, it would be great if the hotel had a few electric room heaters for guests to borrow. I went on a day tour to the pine forest nearby and it rained all day, I was cold when I got back and my room was too!

Free upgrade upon arrival to deluxe room with bathtub and great view due to an „booking error“. Much appriciate it for the first night!

The second night was in our booked category „standard room“ and we stayed in a room with a window facing the hallway, where the housekeeping area was. Very noisy all night !It was located in the basement (-2 floor), right next by the family like home stay. Bathroom was combination between shower and toilette in one room. Highly disappointed.

I only stayed one night at Casanova but really enjoyed my stay. I originally booked a dorm bed because I just needed somewhere to stay before taking a bus the day after, the owner/receptionist offered me a special rate to upgrade this reservation to a private room with nice city view. My room and the hotel overall was very clean, comfortable bed too. The owner's commitment to sustainability was also a big plus, they have water filter station that you can refill your water bottle anytime. They also use stain steel straw instead of single use ones when you order drink from the cafe. Highly recommend!

I like the location and vibe of the hotel.

The room a bit small and the fans too loud to use also dont have refrigerator inside the room.

staffs, letting my dogs stay for free even though they were quite big and there were 2 of them. Also they had a nice cafe looking out. our room had no windows nor a view but had 2 nice queen size bed for comfort and I did not mind at all as it was a last minute reservation just before the new year's eve. The price was too nice even though it was the New Year's eve. Water pressure was strong and hot. wifi worked well. Next time I will get the room with a view but it is only for 2 people. We were 3. GET a room that has a window as it has a terrific view.

the floors had hair and dusts.... it could've been cleaner. bathroom could have been cleaned better because it smelled bit bad too. As I had two dogs, I did not complain. Just the cleanliness could be improved.

The staff was awesome & very helpful. The location was good from sunset roof there’s good view.

Just that room did not had any view but that’s ok cause pantry area had better view.

The location is perfect to me, not far from center (~1km to Dalat Market) but quiet and peace. There are a lot of small food shop/drinking places with delicious foods, e.g. sticky rice shop, Nhau 369, Homemade rice Hoi do, morning coffee shop Bui, etc. Love this place.

Good location, nice decoration, good view from the glass door & balcony!

    10PanuwasPosted on: 3-8-2023

Excellent! For sure I'll be back!.+ The location of the hostel is excellent, very close to main road but far enough away from the noise of the streets. EXTREMELY friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very nice and very good space..

The overall design of the hotel is very nice, quaint and comfortable. The seating area at the ground floor is very pretty with potted plants and big windows allowing natural light and great view looking down at Dalat town. There were also loads of electric plug points to charge phone beside each table at the lounge. Refillable filtered water station provided which I'm ecstatic about. NICE hot shower with strong pressure which is necessary for the cold temperature climate.

My bathroom had this pee/ sewage stench. I wasn't sure if it was the plumbing problem or maybe the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. The smell was quite unbearable the first day, but maybe I got used to it but it wasn't so bad my second night.
