Baanrimnam Resort Hotel

The property looks nice. There are beautiful views and it is mostly clean. The staff were friendly at times.

I asked for a quiet room. The manager put me in an upper room in between other rooms. The other rooms, they filled with rowdy drunks who set up shop outside their rooms and proceeded to get drunk and noisy without any care to other guests rest and peace. The first day, I sat on the bed thinking it would be nice and relaxing. It was not! The bed was extremely hard and that night I kept waking up thinking I was strapped to a torture rack. The next day, I asked for a room with a softer bed, and the manager went out and purchased a new mattress topper. It helped a little ? I had to go to the hospital and get some sleep medication so I could get a good nights rest between the bed and the noise outside of my room. Many times, I set up the room as I liked it to maximize my rest. Each day I was there, the house keeper would come in and reset the room back to new. I finally took off all the curtain holders and put them behind something on the desk so they wouldn’t keep opening the curtains. Then they resorted to leaving the windows wide open along with the balcony doors. It felt like my needs were ignored completely. I had to pay for breakfast every morning. It was minimal but the lady did go out to buy me some orange juice after the first day. They overcharged for a motorcycle rental. Less than a 100 meters away, you can rent a motorcycle for 200 baht. Here the charge 300 baht per day no matter what time you pick it up. morning or evening, it’s still 300 baht and the tank isn’t even full. They expect you to monitor the gasoline constantly and make sure to bring it back half full. You will need to be careful not to miss a gas station otherwise you could run out of gasoline or give it back to them over half full. The greed is real! I won’t stay there again.

From the first, it struck me how clean it was. Even the staircase outside was meticulously cleaned.The room was very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the river. For food, there is a 7-11 close by as well as a great kebab stall.

Location; spacious, clean and comfortable room and bed. Helpful staff. I stayed for one night on my way to Koh Kood. They helped me with transportation. Also with information about night markets and other cool things in Trat

The room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was reasonably priced. Other eateries and cafes are within walking distance.

A fantastic place to stay. My room was very comfortable and clean. It was well equipped with a fridge and tea/coffee. It had a lovely balcony overlooking the river. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, they arranged my pick up to go to the Koh Chang ferry. The hotel is in a lovely quiet location but only a short walk into the main part of Trat.

Good location right on the river and just outside the center of town, and a nice big room.

The beds were very hard. The restaurant wasn’t open at night for dinner.

Charming riverside hotel with spacious, very private, clean rooms. Right across the bridge are a few nice small bars and restaurants, and the market just a short walk further. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful.

Bathroom is a little bit dated and the mattress a bit hard.

Super clean and comfortable. Lovely quiet location next to the river. Good size room with a big bed. The host is charming and so helpful, booked us a boat to Koh Mak and even called ahead to out resort to ensure they were there to collect us from the pier. Highly recommended.

Beds are a bit hard, but that is pretty normal in Thailand.

Clean, comfortable hotel if you have to stay in the Trat area. Very nice woman runs the place and is very helpful and accommodating

Apart from the breakfast everything was lovely. The location, the staff, the view, the room, check-in, general helpfulness - would definitely stay again. The location of the breakfast was good. The hotel is in a very good position for wandering into town (which is well worth it even if only there for a short stopover like us).

We did not like the breakfast I’m afraid. We would have preferred eggs and toast and / or fruit and croissant and / or muesli with yogurt or milk. Filter/fresh coffee with milk available.

Lovely location by the river and close to the centre!

The lock on the door took us a while to figure out how to use from the inside.

Simply perfect, great location, wonderful helpful staff who helped us with transport. We slept so soundly in a clean fresh room. Bonus points for pointing us the direction of the food festival which was a highlight of our trip.

Wonderful room, very nice furnished, very nice bathroom, many good details, location at the river is very nice, very friendly and helpful staff, we could book our trip to island, one of the best hotels I had in Thailand

Fabulous place with views over the canal. Nice walk to the bustling markets of the town centre. The owner got us a great deal on a taxi to the ferry too!
