Mercure Newcastle Airport

The hotel was very quiet & clean. The restaurant was great. We had a family dinner which was excellent. Great chef, superb flavours, excellent presentation & great service.

Rooms and Staff were wonderful The young gentlemen Named Alex was fantastic and very helpful and polite

Meals where a little underwhelming for the price was not impressed

Room doors were too thin, needs sound proofing as could hear everyone in the hallway talking all night and early morning

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The motel was very clean & everything we needed for an overnight stay was supplied. It is a great location for an early morning flight.

I thought the price was quite higher than normal for a hotel near the airport.

After a long day of travel, I really appreciated the early check in that was allowed for me. The room was very well presented and clean.and nice and quiet.

The only thing I could fault was there was no complimentary water bottle. I'm not super confident drinking from taps in towns I'm not used to.

Delicious burger that I had to pull apart to eat. Cost of room for less than 24 hour stay.

The restaurant was nice, rooms were clean and modern.

We could hear the lift during the night which was a bit noisy, but this was just where our room was located.

We couldn’t even see the room as there was no power, no hot water. The elevator worked to get to our room but when leaving it wasn’t working so I had a pram, suitcase, carry bag and baby to get down the stairs. I felt very unsafe doing this.

As above. We paid to lay in a dark room. Couldn’t shower, charge our phones, make a cup of tea or watch tv. Couldn’t even turn the lights on and our phones were dead so didn’t have torches, weren’t offered torches either. A very long dark night.

New, clean and convenient location

Twin share beds are narrow and a little unsafe as inclined to tip up if sit on or roll near the edge. Could be a hazard to elderly.

Great staff, really nice meals in the restaurant, comfortable room.

An issue between Booking.com information and the motel, it comes up with an option of bath or shower, booked a room with a bath, had a response from the motel saying they can accommodate this, when I arrived I found the motel doesn't have any baths.I work and unfortunately, you cannot connect via an HDMI cable to tv to create a second screen.
