Pros +
- Nice big comfy bed. Nice n clean.
- Not much, however the reception staff were friendly and helpful.
- It was close to the venue, the reception was clean, seamless book in
Cons -
- The room was stuffy, air-conditioning wasn't great and it smelt moldy.
- Cockroaches in my room. Staff did offer to move me but I had already unpacked. Asked for a can of bug spray which they gave me and offered me a free breakfast.TV remote didn't work, got it changed and it still didn't work. Took it back to reception and asked for another and that they check it works while I was out for the day. No remote in my room when I came back later that night (they had the whole day!) Rang Reception and a staff member bought up another which worked. Was told when I checked in that rooms are only serviced every second day. Was fine with that but when my room wasn't serviced on the Saturday, asked reception and they said rooms are not serviced on the weekend. Was not told this when I checked in! So for a four night stay, my room wasn't serviced.Cockroaches were still active when I checked out.I will not be staying here again. Was below standard for the price charged.
- My room wasn’t done the first day at all, the second day the dirty cups and glasses were left and the other cup had lots of chip out of it, the complimentary tea and coffee was not replenished so 2 tea bags for 3 days, no face washers.

Convenience to public transport. When asked to be put in another room, it was complied with, and 2nd room was good. Did speak to manager who was helpful.
1st night terrible. Groundfloor room, next to busy street, noisy from very close footpath and traffic. Bathroom not clean, cockroaches everywhere. Nowhere to hang towels, or put toiletries, shower sprayed everywhere. No bedside tables. Small very inadequate pillows, no spares. Asked to be put in another room, which was done. Used advertised meal service, (pizza) which was sloppy, frozen pizza, slapped on a plate. This was prepared by reception staff.
We were on level 3 in a twin room which was very comfortable and very clean
Nothing to complain about the motel is not a five star but it is good value and very well located
Location
Pillows, no remote for tv
Location
Light flickering in bathroom and no one to fix it
Proximity to the event we were attending via light rail
Air con failurePaper thin pillowsFixtures were shabby
Good location
Leg hair in the shower air-conditioning not working and staff just scrubbed it off no offers to partial refund not even a breakfast offer will not be coming back here
The location was really good. Walkable distance to activities, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and bars.
The room was really dark. The beds weren't great. There was holes in the bedding. Had to pay extra for parking. Bathrooms need updating.
Very central location, easy access, 24hr front desk
The bathroom was kinda small
Very good location if your coming for a week. Room was fine just bog standard but clean… for the price i would say way too high for what it offers. Even though the location is very good.
Lobby was pretty shocking, got given one room key between 2 people which caused nightmares. Received one pillow… Some staff were very rude including one lady who was a manager but mostly okay other than her…
Bad
Not as seen in photos, very cheaply made and not worth the money at all. Seemed like a budget rather than a normal ibis. Bad experiences with ibis brand, not what it used to be. Would ever use ibis again. Didn't feel comfortable to stay the night. We had to find another hotel to stay the night.
Location was a lovely walk to the waterfront area.
Getting a bit tired looking; probably needs a reno. No daily service; had to ask for our room to be cleaned.Only 1 spare pillow. Not much of a tea/coffee service - no milk or spoon.
The location was the only redeeming thing about this hotel
My aircon broke, the staff at night were very rude and didn’t help at all and my room smelt of stale urine.
The room was clean and comfortable.Staff at reception were polite and helpful when asked about local area. We’d stay there again!
In town and close to where I needed to go
Air con didnt work in room. Not once was i told I had to pay for parking.
Staff tried their best to make everyone happy, despite the busy season.
This is a run-down old motel, not at all close to the standard of facility one can expect from Ibis. A renovation is required.
The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Its in a great location and central to everything. Good value for money.
$25 per night for overnight parking is too high. They should include it in the price of the room.
Less than average
Dining area was the hotel lobby, cold breakfast options had virtually run out, tables hadn’t been cleaned. Whole property was run down, tired gave a feeling of being grubby. Car park charges not clear - $25 to park overnight is a joke.
