Villa Krish Pondicherry

This is a wonderful hotel staffed by vet helpful people. It’s in a great location. Their restaurant is very good and has a beautiful view of the city. Highly recommended.

The hotel was located in the heart of pondicherry from where the beach was accessible. We also had a wide variety of options when it came to good cafes which were very reasonable. The staff was polite and accomodating to our requests.

1. The room tariff was over priced. There were good hotels in the same area which was very reasonable compared to Villa Krish.2. The breakfast option was not that great which forced us to try out the nearby cafe's.3. They have a rooftop restaurant where the morning breakfast is served. They do not have a net to keep the birds out and were constantly bothered by crows during breakfast.4. The menu is very limited and is also overpriced.

Villa Krish Pondy delivers a quiet, aesthetic, comfy stay with warm hospitality and great proximity to the best of Pondicherry. It’s less about loud luxury and more about stress-free, beautiful simplicity — a great choice if you want a soulful stay in Puducherry.

Good location and price

Bed mattress was too soft and ventilator had a clinging sound.We were exhausted so we still slept but a bit nervous traveler would have had a hard time

I had a fantastic stay! The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Everything—from the linens to the bathroom—was spotless. The manager was incredibly professional and welcoming, making sure every detail was taken care of.

Just TV not working

The new rooms were excellent, breakfast was disappointing, too little space to fetch meals, also quantity of items at breakfast were minimal. Older rooms didn't have hot water, some rooms didn't even have water on tap

Lovely room, with colony style furnityre. Breakfast was serves at room terrace. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, good local breakfast.

The room was a bit run Down and could do with an upgrade.

The food can get better.The toilets were very unkept and there was no difference between the superior and deluxe rooms.

The terrace upstairs is very nice but the breakfast was not goodThe location is very good.

The AC was too loud

Location was great and the balcony at the front is nice to sit on relax and people watch.

Limited breakfast choice.Could do with better sound proofing.

Location, large room.

AC could not be controlled :( blew at high speed the whole night @ 20 degrees - hardly slept. Inexperienced staff at dinner - although being helpful. Poor food quality.

Rooms not as seen in photographs on websites.No window or views as advertised.Initially staff a little inefficient.Room wasn’t cleaned 1st night, when asked why was abruptly told that I hadn’t left room key, I wasn’t told that I needed to.

Beds are of poor quality - spring beds which gave me back ache. Room has no ventilation. And very small rooms. Showers were not good. Found cockroach in Idli.

The room.is large, and comfortable. The room has a lot of atmosphere, with its antique furnishings. The large bed is super comfortable. The lighting adds to the atmosphere. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is in the heart of the French quarter, but very quiet.Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was very good, but the included breakfast , though filling, was averageWe enjoyed a cocktail at sunset on the rooftop, though we thought the cocktails could be made stronger..

I like the manager Robinson very humble and helpful guy he will go out of the to help.

The price of beer a bit high

Such a fantastic location, quiet but very close to restaurants and the beach on a very pretty street. Lovely room, comfortable mattress and pillows. Would def stay again. O and a great rooftop bar looking out to sea.

Hotel situated in White Town in a excellent area. Has a French feel. Close to the beach but unable to swim due to rocks.Excellent room with four poster bed and comfortable.Rooftop restaurant served tasty meals at a reasonable price.Service was far more than I expected by the manager Robinson Thomas who more than made may stay so enjoyable from the time I arrived until I departed. I booked a train which meant I had to depart at 5am. He arranged transport to train station and not only that he phoned me from his home to make sure I was awake and then contacted driver to insure he was there on time. Where can you get such personal service?Thank you for all your help

Smelly toilet. No proper restaurant. Not appropriate furniture.
