Mango Hill Auroville Pondicherry

Awesome food. Special mention about Sriram chief chef .Everything was very good.We enjoyed our stay at Mangohill.Very courteous staff.

Everything was awesome! The service, smiling and courteous staff, yummy food, friendly chef and Fand B staff everything was too good. We truly enjoyed our stay.

It was a very pleasant stay, the room we stayed was very big and good aesthetics. Balcony Sitout was very nice to have.

Room should have had a small fridge/bar setup.

superb with good service and excellent food quality , more over bar facility needs to be increase little bit

The pool, and the room. The ambience was good.

The drilling sound outside the room made the stay unbearable. It was dust all over. The staffs are not fast to serve the orders.

I liked the location and the pool area.

The entrance had alot of construction and we were not informed of it. We booked the Thai cottage 10 days ahead and we were upgraded to a suite. The suite was not clean and it was smelly. The bathtub was broken and it was not clean. The ac was not working properly.

Good sized room, Decent location between Auroville and the Highway. Good surrounding with Mango and Cashew trees. Common areas cleaned and sprayed for pests multiple times a day. They had a pool and a restaurant but we never used it.

Terrible lighting in the room dependent only on cove and bedside lights.Toilet refused to flush properly and the tap never stopped running fully despite complaints to maintenance. Construction noise made it difficult to relax.Open car park only (but that's standard across the area so pretty low on the list).

The location was pretty good and the staff was very helpful.

It's not value for money at all, paying an amount like that and getting the most ordinary looking room with a dysfunctional TV. I almost had to call the front desk for every little thing. I would have preferred staying at a hostel rather than this, the mattress wasn't comfortable at all.

BREAKFAST LOCATION

CLEANLINESS

The greenery and the quite

The bathroom was not clean and the staff was not very proactive

the location was good. pool was good and clean.Room service food wasn't good.

staff weren't treating everyone equally....welcome drink was served to few guests and for others they did not care. also the recreation room has nothing in it. that room was a joke.

Nice look at swimming pool Nice room

The staff from the eating hall were not clear English speaking

The Breakfast was very good.

I reach pondicherry at 5:00 AM. While booking i had specifically requested that i would be checking in early. The staff tried to charge me Rs.1500/- for early check in, even while it was a weekday and most of the rooms were available. After a bit of confusion, and time, the staff permitted me to check in without any additional charges.

Very good comfortable stay food had limited veg options but taste was good served hot phulka rotisserie for dinner room very good spacious bathroom very spacious along with bath tub very nice enjoyed our stay

The staff was continuously asking hotel booking payment receipt hard copy even when we showed them soft copy details on mobile then lastly one staff was polite enough to convey next day that they have checked computer details and yes our payment is confirmed We had already done online payment before starting the trip also messaged property pls check and revert back Instead of checking at their end they were doubting about us We are not cheaters

Well maintained, aesthetic and cozy property. Loved the pool. Courteous service too.

Food can be better.

location

checkin process, rooms, room ambience, power sockets, billing.... are the highlights.

One night stay. Late check-in well managed by the staff. Possibly to order continental breakfast (yogurt and omelette)Nice swimming pool Hair dryer in the bathroom Very collaborative staff. Thank you

Not so satisfied by the room at the roof floor: old mattress very uncomfortable, absolutely no way to hang clothes (just a chest of drawers), disappointing cleanings (lot of dust under a tray).Poor communication before arrival. Several mails with the same question, no answer!

Location of the property isn't far from the city and is close to beach.

The property needs little revamp, some of the wood logs were dismembered posing risk of harming while walking. Lift facility isn't there and our room was in 3rd floor, so had to climb stairs with elderly people
