Had to wait for an hour to check in as the previous guests delayed their checkout.

Room was very small, parking is a issue there. Had to park somewhere near the petrol bunk and had to walk to the hotel.

Ac was not working in the midnight. No one was there to inform to fix. Rooms are not that much comfortable. Not value of money.Food was not good salty and some food no salt at all.

Best place for evening walk. Close to beach . Breakfast with beach view on roof was great. Little options but good quality.. great family stay !

1. Location was the prime USP. the best you could get. Exactly on the beach road. Obviously the neighbourhood was great given it was white town. you can have both morning walks and evening walks on the beach road. watch the sun/moon rise from your balcony if you get a room with balcony. 2. Break-fast was decent. not a lavish spread but more of a set-breakfast where your have two major options between Indian/continental.3. Staff were courteous.

1. They charged me more for the room with balcony, Booking.com did not have an option to choose the sea-facing balcony. i went there assuming i had booked the balcony room (though not). I was just lucky to get it on both the days i visited but had the tree right in front of my room which obstructed the sea view. So if you are looking for a room with sea-facing balcony (which they have only four; of which, one has a tree in front).2. No parking on beach road. So, they have a separate car park 400m away. The staff help you with luggage. But one needs to walk back after parking the car in their parking area

One of the hotels with best sea view in Pondicherry.Please note that they have only 4 sea facing rooms so make sure you book them well in advance. The rooms are spacious with a spacious and wide seating area(balcony ) attached with the sea facing rooms from where you can enjoy the sun rise early in the morning. The view from the restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel offers splendid 180 degree top view of the sea. It feels as if you are sitting in a shack higher up facing the sea. The restaurant offers only breakfast for in house guests .Breakfast comprises a wide spread of SouthIndian/Continental dishes ( nothing special .Just basic things for filling breakfast) .Tastes homely and simple.But there are many restaurants and takeaway centres just a few mins walk away from where you can have your lunch/dinner or you can always use Swiggy to get your food delivered at the hotel. The staff is very helpful and polite always ready to help you in every way possible. Another good thing is... You can enjoy an early morning or an evening walk along the promenade that stretches along the sea line .No vehicles are allowed on the promenade. It is beautifully lined with coconut trees on one side and old buildings /hotels on the other.Just a few mins walk away on the back side of the hotel lies the white town where you can see colourful and fascinating french colonial buildings .There are excellent cafes and restaurants in every nook and corner. If you are too concerned about cleanliness , carry your own towels.the towels at the hotel are clean but you may find little stains here and there. Parking is not available at the hotel premise but they have a covered parking just few mins walk away. You must confirm it with the hotel staff before your arrival.Overall , I loved staying at Cours Chabrol and I highly recommend it !!

Would have loved it if they made arrangements for our food at night as we checked in really late. But we ordered through swiggy.

The staff are really good and helpful, loved the location just. Opposite to the beach, the interior of the room was very nice, just loved my stay

Should have their own restaurant and complementary breakfast should start by 6:30am, they should give a valid contact number
