No privacy at all, the walls and doors are thin we can hear everything outside and inside! My room had a connecting door that made the next door guests voices awfully loud! Breakfast was not on time the next day saw a cockroach in the bread basket! Very bad experience

Nice spacious rooms, courteous staff.

Though there is nothing to complain, few minor things need to be addressed. Shower in room 1204 is tilted and the shower flow is not proper. There's no bucket in the bathroom, good to have a bucket and mug for those who use or in this case, an improper shower. TV was not working all the days of our stay.

the staff were friendly. they allowed me early checkin too. location was really good, it was walkable distance from the rock beach.

room size could have been little more bigger. first day for breakfast less items were there, next day more items were there. so when i asked why it was less yesterday, the staff told occupancy was less

Doesn’t have a dedicated parking area. We had to park on the common road and our friend’s car got hit badly .

Nice room and nice behaviour of staffs. Breakfast is awesome. Interior decoration is superb.

The location was a great spot close to the beach. The staff were polite and the rooms were clean and wonderful. The entire amenities and facilities offered were awersome.

The bathroom drain clogged a bit, maybe some regular cleaning and manitenance could improve the situation. Otherwise everything was perfect and spot on!

The shower in my room was great and very necessary given the hot weather when i was there. Really appreciated the coolness and strength of the water!

My room door was difficult to open , I had to get the staff to open it several times even though the key card was OK.

nothing waste of money

It is a very attractive building inside and out in a lively part of the old town. Close to the beach and its esplanade and many restaurants nearby. The room was well appointed in terms of fridge etc but small and nowhere nice to sit for the second person. Breakfast was very nice with enough choice for those not too eager to eat spicy food in the morning. Very good coffee from a machine.

We were initially given a room towards the back of the building but since we were staying three nights we asked for a lighter room. The first one had no real window and with heavy furniture there was no room left to move. So we moved to a bigger and slightly lighter room; however, it faced the street with sun blazing in during the day eg blinds had to be kept down and, even though the street had not much traffic at all, it was obviously a very popular night spot for roaming packs of dogs. The barking was very incessant and loud so there was no chance for me to stay asleep without earplugs. A room at the back probably much quiter.

concierge desk not to the usual standard e.g taxi booking service this has been the normal everywhere even in hostels whilst in India

it was so dirty, everything was falling apart in the room. the staff were ignorant, would almost ignore you when you enter and wouldn’t greet you unless you greeted them… phone didnt work, breakfast was cold, one day we had good coffee, next day was instant coffee…. staff wouldnt even help to arrange a day trip.

The Richmond is a lovely, small and cute property that has an old world charm. Its location is just wonderful as the Promenade beach is just 400 feet away. The staff is their biggest asset as they are very courteous and helpful. Overall there is a unique ambience all around which I loved.

Though the breakfast is simple and spartan, the staff serve you with such dedication and from heart that you tend to forget the shortcomings!

Beautiful rooms, very large, clean and French style.

Though Simple, very comfortable and centrally located. Parking could be arranged better. Food was also simple but tasty. I would definitely go back to the richmond. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

Quiet place White Town is the best locality. Close to the eating places ; good breakfast
