    Pros +

    • Location and staff reacted promptly to whatsapp messages
    • The unit was huge. Everything there looks new. Loving the woody and rustic concept.
    • The room design and its location

    Cons -

    • There were only 2 small coffee/tea cups, no glasses. In the sleeping compartment, there was no socket near the bed to put the light on and off. The switch was outside the room near the entrance door. So a torch was needed to go in and out of bed.
    • The parking was quite difficult
    • This was our second time staying here, and I was initially still impressed with the hotel room design. However, this time the experience was quite different.I booked a family room with two queen beds for my family of five (myself, my husband, and our three daughters aged 13, 8, and 5). The receptionist informed us that the room was only for three adults and considered my 8-year-old as an adult, which required an additional charge. I was quite surprised, as we had specifically booked a family room with two queen beds. Classifying an 8-year-old as an adult was honestly unreasonable. In addition, one of the queen beds had a comfortable mattress, but the other bed was extremely hard which felt like sleeping on a wooden board. The difference between the two mattresses was very noticeable and very different from our stay here last year. After all, we paid the extra RM30 anyway. Take my money! hahaha. That said, I really like the hotel’s location as it is within walking distance to Pasar Payang. Unfortunately, I dont think im going to stay here again. I have stayed in many hotels, but this was my first experience with a hotel classifying an 8-year-old as an adult and applying an extra charge.

Comfy bed. Spacious room. Good location.

    8ArifPosted on: 10-21-2025

Location was perfect, in the center of the city and just beside Pasar Payang. Near to everything. Room was big and suitable for family of 4. Car park a bit limited as need to use the public parking. But need to improve a bit on the room housekeeping and cleanliness. Not soo bad but a little improvement would be better. Got 2 queen bed inside the room but one mattress was soo hard as it was made from coconut fibre. Better to change this mattress to comfortable one.

Room is big with separate bed room & hall with dining table & mini kitchen. superbb!!. definitely will repeat soon.

    10Izal_MuinPosted on: 9-17-2025

The rooms arrangement and wooden style

The bigger sink at the open area would be better

    6KhanPosted on: 6-21-2025

    Spacious & decently located

Since its an old style room with a lot of wooden furniture, it would be ideal to maintain a higher standard of cleanliness especially in area's where dust can collect. But not a deal breaker.

Beautiful Wooden interior, comfortable and very clean room. Huge suite with pantry. Amazing and impressive conplete with all necessary amenities.. easy check in check out..we really enjoyed our stay if not for the noisy family with noisy kid next door. I can't find any fault with the room.

Wood is thick and solid but the guests next door were so noisy we heard them clearly through the wooden wall panel. The kid next door was jumping on the wooden floor and shouting which spoiled our 2nd night trying to sleep

The design of room are authentic classic.

The curtain is so transparent. Need more blind

    Clean. Firm mattres bed. Spacious.

Hard tiles flooring, feet feels cold. Need to wear slippers all the time.

The charm of wooden deco and they are properly maintained. Near to eating places and Pasar Payang. Helpful staff to guide for self-checkin.

Confusing with 2 different buildings. Need to be alert on this (especially when you arrive at night)

Beyond my expectations. Room was big and clean. Staff was give a hand. For those want to stay here need to call the staff to ask which block you room located.

Huge room, reasonable price, good amenities

    9SyazihaPosted on: 9-18-2024

I like the hotel design . Simple and classic

There is no mirror in the living area. Please add one more mirror to make it easier to use for makeup & wearing tudung. No need to wait for someone to use the toilet before doing our makeup.

    9CHU H.Posted on: 7-20-2024

The entire unit is quite tastefully designed with Peranakan style.

The Master bedroom's aircon unit was a little faulty, not very cold but passable. The lift is a little cramp but can't complaint much as it was quite an old building. The small lift should in fact be a plus :D

    8taufikjaaffarPosted on: 6-6-2024

Very Spacious, with dedicated Living and Dining Table. Ample of space for small family. City View, cant complain much but very good location and direct access to food, shops, pharmacies, etc. Host and Staff are very nice.Parking was not a problem. Will definitely stay again should we land in KT.

The sink was a bit smelly, maybe due to previous food waste in the pipes. One of the bed was a hard type.. but line, blankets and pillows are acceptable.

    9IszuddinPosted on: 5-29-2024

Location. Room setup. It was spacious and I like the wooden wall setup for the individual rooms, providing a traditional wooden house feel to it, even though it is on the 1st - 3rd floor of a shop lot.

Nothing major. Perhaps a sofa would've made the room cozy rather than all wooden furniture.

    9MOHD H. R.Posted on: 5-27-2024

Near to Pasar Payang, shoplots, BIMB and Masjid Lama as well as rain shower with good pressure water.
