    Pros +

    • This hotel is possibly the best place for western travellers to stay in town. Hidden in the backyard is a cozy cafe and restaurant, with a garden sitting area and an indoor AC area, which is perfect for work too, with electric sockets. There's also a separate DSA garden sitting area. The food here was so good, especially the western breakfast. I stayed in the dorm, which was basic and quite tight, but there were privacy curtains, lockers and a nice duvet. The rest of the facilities easily made up for the small dorms. The common bathrooms were spacious and spotlessly clean with hot showers. Toilet paper, soap and towel provided. It was a small balcony between the dorms. Free hot and cold water dispensers on each floor. Every single member of staff was always so friendly and welcoming. Excellent WiFi. Excellent location right in Chinatown, within walking distance from the bus station.
    • The location is strategic, room very clean, quiet and peace.
    • Great location in China Town, 10 minute walk from the bus station, lots of good places to eat nearby and right next to a 711. A good place to stop for a couple of nights on the way to/from Perehentian and Redang. Their coffee shop is great too and you even get a free welcome coffee!

    Cons -

    • It was nothing I didn't like, but if they want to attract more foreigners, they should change the WORDINGS on the payment information! It turned out to be so easy. Booking.com took security in my card and you can pay by card or with cash upon arrival. BUT....many foreigners avoid booking when it says something like this: 'Property will handle the payment. Payment must be made in full in advance. Property will let you know'. We simply avoid booking those places because many then demand a bank transfer, which for some must be booked with their bank, takes 3-5 days and is costing an arm and a leg, often more than the cost of the room!
    • Probably nothing
    • Tiny room for dorm. No pantry and common area. Maybe the common area is the balcony but I feel it’s for smokers. The only space is the cafe but it is only for people who come to consume their food and beverage.

Water dispenser on every floor. Budget value for solo traveler as there is no other offers something like this in Kuala Terengganu. Nice cafe restaurant.

Love the plug point there are so many plug points

No Wi-Fi password in the room. Can ask but its okay i can use my own phone data

    9KmPosted on: 12-24-2024

Comfortable bed and strategic place for resting, near to many chinese restaurants

There are many stairs, which is inconvenient if you have large luggage. There are also steps between the room and the toilet. They are all the same color and are a bit dangerous.

    9Min H.Posted on: 11-29-2024

Simple , clean and nice location, walking distance car park space behind the hotel

Staircase~ hahaha if bring big luggage you’ll faint..

    9NurPosted on: 11-28-2024

I had a nice stay at the hotel. the room fits just nice for a person. got window and a nice view of pasar payang. also its a walking distance to pasar payang. have water dispenser at each level. room is also clean and comfortable.

parking is a bit limited since there is not much space in front of the hotel. but you may also park behind the hotel and must walk a little bit.

    9IliPosted on: 10-6-2024

Very clean, near to pasar payang can just walk. Got several cafes nearby as well. They have their own cafe too. Staffs are friendly. They provide essential oil and diffuser as well for the night, which is a nice touch. Overall a good one night stay, and good pricing as well

Sink inside the room, makes the floor around/below the sink a bit wet. Everything else is good.

    8SarahPosted on: 10-2-2024

Some of the staff was nice and helpful. The location is great near bus station (10 min max by walking), the room was clean and the matress was confortable. I slept good !

The aircon was too low for me. Also they dont serve any breakfast (you have to go to their coffee shop and pay extra), and the sink was inside the room and not in the bathroom.

    10AIXINPosted on: 9-23-2024

The location is great, only 5 minutes walk to the China Town. Provide water machine for free on each floor. Love the balcony.

The female dorm is a little bit cramped.
