    • Swimming pool and animals
    • One stop center for family
    • Near merang jetty for day trip,Lots animals to look at,pleasant location .

    Cons -

    • Cat dont have place to sleep when cool weather.
    • Mini zoo which not very hygiene. The animals poo is everywhere. Should add the staff to monitor and maintain the place. Food not so variety for 4 stars resort. And please also take care the public toilet which l think should not in not well clean for 4 stars resort.
    • Bike Parking was so far away from our unit . had to carry everything across the whole property as they said bike parking was only at the back but we see bikes parking just beside lobby. Not sure if it’s miscommunication .

The location and view of the beach hut resort could not be better. The wooden beach huts are situated on the beach which IS Paradise! One cannot beat that view. The walk from the jetty to the resort took only 12 minutes and it wasnt clearly signposted but we had our googlemaps to direct us.The manager is so helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had booked our return ferry for 11am the next day and he called the ferry company for us to change the ferry time until a later time, at no extra cost or effort. Daniel really made our stay great.Breakfast is included but it's only one option which is a full Malaysian style fry up with eggs, beans, toast and coleslaw amongst some other things. We only wanted scrambled eggs and upon this seemingly odd request, the kitchen were happy to accommodate us.The AC in the rooms worked perfectly fine. The rooms looked freshly painted with white walls. There is a mini mart next door to the Paradise Resort which sells beers and ciders :))) and a restaurant to the other side that serves amazing food and cocktails. There is firedancing on the beach and a fab fish restaurant on the rocks where we ate, which is price but well worth it.

The bathrooms were dark and dingy and although seemed clean, they didn't have the best odour. We were outside most of the time and there were also outside showers so it wasn't really a problem but for the money we paid, we'd have expected better bathrooms. The bedrooms that we stayed in didn't have mosquito nets and unfortunately there were a few mosquitos in our room that had a midnight feast on us. Our friends in the other hut however didn't get bitten. Mosquito nets in each hut should be a given. I would go again and take my own net but it should really be provided. The bed linen was clean however the mattresses are very very old and needing replaced. We only knew the mattress condition because after repositioning the kids beds around to suit us, we noticed this.

We booked 2 rooms, 1 x Family Junior Suite rooms with the aerospace theme with 2 Space Shuttle beds and the other was Sunrise Horizon. My kids had an amazing time. They especially enjoyed the mini waterpark and the mini zoo with chickens, ducks, and rabbits. It was such a fun and unique experience, especially for my daughter. The most iconic moment was seeing a duck swimming in the small hallway pond surrounded by lots of fish, so memorable.

Our arrival experience was quite disappointing. It was raining heavily when we arrived, and there was no bellboy in sight,we had to carry our own luggage to the lobby. The check-in process was unpleasant; there was no proper welcome from the front desk staff, who seemed to be interns. When I booked two rooms, I didn’t realize they would be in different blocks, mine was in Block A, while my son’s was in Block C. I politely asked if we could be placed nearer to each other and even offered to pay extra, but the front desk simply said it wasn’t possible as they were fully booked. However, from my observation, there were clearly vacant rooms on the same level as my son’s room and also on the floor above. I cannot stand dishonesty. The bed in my room was extremely hard, more like a hostel bed. I went to the front desk to speak with the Hotel Manager or Duty Manager, but was told only a Supervisor was available, and unfortunately, she had no authority to make any decisions. When I asked where the Manager was, I was told he was “outstation”,during peak season! That’s completely unacceptable to leave a property poorly managed during high occupancy. Inside the swimming pool near the sliding there are a cable which my daughter step on it a several times.Later, I went to the restaurant to order some snacks and coffee. Most of the staff were either busy on their phones, eating instant noodles at the counter, or sitting leisurely on the railing, completely ignoring guests. I had to call out a few times before getting any attention. I ordered two sets of fries to dine in, but they served them soggy, oily, and undercooked,in takeaway packaging, even though I clearly said I wanted to dine in. No coffee machine was available either. The table was dirty with lizard droppings, and underneath, I saw leftover food like nuggets. When I pointed this out, the staff claimed they clean the area three times a day, which is hard to believe given the condition.

    Staffs were efficient

Management not contacting after a month of my stay there. Our toilet is mouldy. No baby crib provided just because the room that has permanent crib isn't available. Told the staff I try to book that particular room but no avail in Booking.com. Co-sleep with my baby end up okay tho she rolled on the floor twice. phew. Shame that a cheap baby tub couldn't be provided. Lamp on the bed fell on me when I was nursing my baby. Made a complaint staffs were efficient in rectifying but sadly, no one from the management side contacted me at all. Staff said they will email me to give discount voucher for next visit. Up to now, nothing. I don't need the voucher. I am frustrated how their management take lightly of guest safety. Mouldy toilet is bad for us adult, more so to children. And fortunate enough that lamp fell on me not on my child. No courtesy contact from the management. Never again.

The facilities that the resort has go to offer- pool, scenery, size of room, etc.

The overall cleanliness - room toilet & resort lawn. Though the resort was just newly launch, parts of the resort looks a bit run down.

Themed on the concept of a water theme park, a beautiful view of the area and clean accommodation

Overall it is interesting and suitable for a family vacation.

Filthy Rooms, No good for solo travellers and staff that have no customer service training.

Bathroom was disgusting, asked to change rooms and the next two he opened were as dirty as mine. Solo travellers can’t get a meal unless they pay the 2-4 person amount. Staff don’t care and seemed to enjoy being unhelpful. Worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Requested refund and they said I didn’t want guy to clean my room at 9:30 pm (seriously?) and I didn’t like the other two dirty rooms so my fault! Garbage all around the perimeter of the property, 6 foot wall around and no stairs to the beach so beachfront means nothing when you can’t get to it.

The beach view. The resort was also quite beautiful. The breakfast terrace was cozy.Breakfast by the beach; brought own tikars.

The receptionist was not friendly and bit arrogant. Not that good wt manners. She needs training and more patience and politeness and respect when talking. Also she must understand customers late arrival so tired already. Understand it. Priotizing - emphasize on it.

Room is spacious with extra area to perform prayers.

    - Check in time was 4pm!- There were lots of tiny buys (agas) flying around and we figured it came out from old ventilators on the ceiling.- My baby woke up with severe allergies on her skin (hives) and it might be from the sheets/beds.- Gives old resorts kinda vibes.

The pillow and the mattress not comfortable

    nice view

the family suite is overrated! the room so jam packed with unuseful 'space ship'. standard room muchhh more better, spacios & convenient. and more cheaper than family suite

Air slow and tiada bath mat.

I dont like it at all. Its not worth.

The resort was not well maintained & dirty. I saw rubbish at the corridor & around the resort area. Grass not trimmed properly at the resort & from the front junction & along the way to resort building. Worst part its not friendly at all for disable people if you bring someone with wheelchair. The room was not so clean, the sliding door glass at every room (booked 4 rooms) was not wiped properly. Bathroom cabinet basin was outdated & dirty.

The Resort basically offer pool open until 10pm.Food options was mediocre but acceptableFamily oriented rooms, very minimalist designHotel layout have much to offer

Maintenance isn't the Hotel main forte,Basically a lot of the facilities are rundown and the rooms have some lights not functioning well even with their RM100 deposit initiative

    9AshrulPosted on: 1-16-2025

The beautiful landscape...close by the beach. The room has unique design....stayed in family room.

The compound is a bit messy, maybe due to the rainy and windy season...many leaves and broken branches.
