Primula Beach Hotel

The location has many food and shopping outlets within walking distance. It was a pleasure walking along the beach despite the less than ideal weather.

The building is dated, and it shows in the general fittings. However there is no dank smell or broken fittings. Just feels old in general.Also the room was cold regardless how I set the thermostat. Switching off A/C resulted in no air circulation. I could hardly get decent sleep due to this.

Got EV charger but cannot use. The management lock it for what purpose I dont know. Already asked the security about it and they said it cannot use. maybe just for their management.

Room was comfortable, a bit cold but thats ok. Food selection was ok.

The room was dated . They was a leak in the closet that the maintenance staff tried to sort and managed to after a couple of days . The bathroom was creaking whenever we open and closed it. Overall , it was ok coz the weather was nice and view was stunning. The staff was friendly . The hotel needs updating coz it’s a shame considering its close proximity to everything and with a view like that , it’ll definitely do very well.

This well-known hotel has been established in Kuala Terengganu for decades. It is located at the seaside in the city. Near to many city attractions such as the two latest shopping malls i.e. KTCC and Mayang Mall. Near to the state mosque and the general hospital. The local food served here was good.

The hotel has seen it better days. Every year I see that it is slowly running down. Old furniture and facilities. The Wifi is very slow. The hotel needs to be refurbished soonest possible.

Superb location & friendly staff & good breakfast. Unfortunately the place is in dire need of refurbishment & upgrading. Hotel is just old & tired.

The facilities is superb despite its an old hotel. Lovely place. Near the beach. I walked to nearest night market on certain day.

The food on the anjung was meh. Rm 15 for two pieces of ikan celup tepung kinda overkill. Otherwise ok.

The staff very GOOD.Well, terrengganu not many choice of hotels. But Primula has been, our family regular hotel - as ever we're in TGG. The mgmt should look into putting more budget in getting it good (not asking for it to be better or best). My room aircon NOT working at all (Just air blower). Room services - requested for mineral water (that i want to pay for it RM6 per bottle) but the roomsvc person incharge said "Sorry, we running out of mineral water (bottle). How can it be. This hotel located in the city. Supply can easily obtain and delivered. And water and drinks is the bigger margin for F&B. Lighting.. as deem as chicken coop. But having say that, all the staffs are so humble, friendly and always smiling. Will I give up to stay in Primula Hotel? My answer will be, NO. I like the location and the people there. Make do with whats the best. The hotel mgnt must take accountability. As customer we paid accordingly (no discount no freebie no coupon). So give us what we pay. THAT ALL. Room 1102/03

Pipe handle in toilet almost broken...should change to modern style as this is 4 star rated hotel..if improvised more on interior design will be great.

The toilet room is quite smelly and dirty (mold). I didn't get the room as promised in booking.com (beach/pool view).

The hotel is aging. Run down. Room bell is not functioning.

Local food centred breakfast. Minimal options for western options. But overall good. Should concentrate more on the proteins as well as western options for protein dishes. OTherwise it was a pleasant experience.

Rooms were showing their age in a bad way. Doors and furniture creeks and were pretty banged up. Beds were basic and the pillows were ither too thin to sleep on or hard as a rock. My room safe did not function. The balcony wans sliding door to which i presume many would want to look out to enjoy the scenery was completely clouded by dirt and grime.

I've stayed in this hotel multiple times during last couple of years whenever I'm in KT for work, mainly because it is near to where I need to be. It is an old hotel, but has undergone some upgrades to improve the facilities.Good location by the beautiful Batu Burok beach. Lots of hawker food along the beach in the evening. Nice selection of breakfast.

Some rooms need to be refurbished...looks old and dated.Cleanliness of the bathrooms could be better. Rotten door and broken shelve. I was greeted with a dead cockroach in the toilet once.

the hotel is a bit jaded and needs to refresh its look . Expected breakfast to be better as had stayed here some years ago and the bredakfast then was much better in terms of variety and quality of taste
