Hotel O D&d Budget Inn

Disappointing

The room really smells bad....The bed is not comfortable cause I can feel the spikey spring inside...There is no public transport nearby

Staff said that they didn't accept booking from online anymore. She asked me to pay RM20.00 to that hotel as their only commission.

Problem with check in, i was forced to pay extra as there was a misunderstanding with spot on and the inn. The owner claim spot on took half of the rent and the owner only get rm 32. She claim the room value was more around rm 50. It was not my problem and i refused to pay extra.

It's about 7 km to the city. Turn left and walk 100m to the junction. Turn right and cross Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra and wait for the bus in front of the small mosque. Diagonally across the road is the blue coloured Masjid Sultan Ismail Petra. That's where you alight from the bus on the way back to the guesthouse. Fare is RM1.40. Once I paid RM4 for a shared kereta sapu (illegal taxi). The other passenger, a local said it should be only RM2. Maybe the driver was trying to overcharge me because I was not from that state and couldn't speak the local dialect. But I think RM4 is quite reasonable.

The worker ironing the bed sheets in the common area and the sheets were dangling down on to the floor. The guests didn't take off their shoes in that area although they're supposed to. One time a few guests arrived late at night (about 11.30 pm) to check in to their rooms. They didn't wear masks and were talking loudly for some time in the small common area, outside my room. This was in September 2020

great place, separate room with air conditioning, for the money. Nice administration. There are a lot of educational institutions in the district, so there were no issues with a computer and printer, 200 meters across the road. The field side is CFS with delicious local food. Also, local non-expensive Indian or Malay cuisine is super tasty to choose from, unlike Thai.)) From the visa consulate 1 hour leisurely walk.
