Subhas Tourist Hotel

I booked this hotel for my parents and some family members and they are overwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff. The rooms have been spacious and clean with all the facilities included. The dinner has been arranged well and the breakfast has also been splendid. Hotel is located in a convenient place in Jaffna town.

Breakfast , very good

after room lock and come out , it is dark , the light out side doesn't work sometimes , it is off. it is better check otherwise it is diffcult to insert the key for door openning

Highly recommended Subhas Hotel which is located at a centralized location in Jaffna town. All the places we wanted to visit including our favourite restaurants, railway station, liquor shops, places for worship, supermarkets etc are in walking distance away. Good staff. Worth the money.

Subhas Tourist Hotel is a well managed property with friendly staff who were kind enough to allow us to check-in rather earlier than planned.The breakfast was simple yet delicious!

The WiFi tended to drop due to a weak signal.

The owner manager was very helpful but his staff are lacklustre and indifferent. The breakfast is served cold and not good. The TV worked well and it is a calm location with a courtyard.

The welcoming staff and always willing to help !Excellent food - standard offering and prepared to make any on request.

Facilities - Need refurbishment to this hotel. However, the quality of staff, excellent food and the level of customer services will easily make you forget the lack of some facilities.

Very comfortable, clean, convenient , helpful staff & I would recommend to families and solo travellers. Very good value for your money.I stayed here 4 years in a row.

Counters could be kept in 2 separate tables . One for the local Cuisine and other for international cuisine. This will help the travelers to enjoy the meal more. More local flavor can be added eg. Coconut

Mosquitos causing sleepless nights . Staff delaying to answer phones in the evening .

The hospitality- the owners and staff ensured every request was taken care of, very friendly people and one of the best locations to stay in Jaffna as everything within the town is walking distanceThank you Aruna ma'am and Sabi sir (I hope I dint mess up the name) for the wonderful stay!

They need to figure out how to curb the mosquito issue, not specifically in the rooms but in the outer premises

Convenient location close to railway station and town. Nice Sri Lankan breakfast.

It could be more cleaner. Especially the toilets. If you're looking for comfort it's not the right place. Good for bag packers at affordable quick night stay

Great hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Situqted walkable distance from the town. Loved the breakfast which was complimentary. Aruna was very helpful. Wifi connection was good and I was able to get my work done.

It’s a nice cheap classic hotel near Jaffna market, the room was clean and staff very attentive.

Breakfast could have been warmer and a bit more English from the staff may have made things a littleEasier but only slightly.

Even though say they have a restaurant we have to order early if we need food.

Staff were very much customer focused, always willing to help in a prompt manner at any time. The WiFi and AC were excellent compared to last 3 very expensive hotels I stayed in India. Very close to the city centre shops.I will be returning again in 8 months time for 3 weeks of stay again.

The breakfast was excellent, featuring a delightful array of options that truly set the tone for the day. Overall, the food throughout my stay was fantastic reminiscent of home cooked meals that are both comforting and satisfying. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The location of the accommodation was ideal, conveniently situated within walking distance of Jaffna town center. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jana.

Clean and spacious room with fan and air conditioning. Staff were fantastic. Wifi was excellent and was able to get my online work done. Food was good and location was perfect. Good value for money.

Good location, pretty central.

No one in reception when we went there, and when there was there was no actual receptionist, just the cleaning people. Some lights didnt work and couldnt even change the tap in the shower so we showered with the bucket, got no help after asking about it.
