Jaffna Heritage Hotel

A lovely secluded hotel situated in tranquil surroundings, in close proximity to the famed Nallur kovil and Rio ice cream. Service was excellent. Mr Rajapaksha and his lady assistant Dharshi? were extremely hospitable and very accommodative of our wishes. The vegetarian breakfast was superb. Clean and spacious bedroom. My one suggestion is to have at least one more plugpoint for charging the phone, especially when its double occupancy. Highly recommend this hotel.

My family and I were sooo impressed by the staff. They REALLY bent over backwards to cater to our needs - especially the gentleman who did the cooking. After finding out about my unique diet he made sure that I did have something to eat. Thank you sooo much.

Great location and building with beautiful grounds, a swimming pool and sustainable energy practice. A delight to stay in

great sri lankan breakfast buffet with spicy food and an array of sambals! walking to the temple from the hotel is very engaging!

not a lot of heritage or vintage touches that would have elevated the vibe to the next level.

Lovely old converted property set off the road in a lovely garden. Room was very spacious and staff extremely friendly

Nothing!

The staff were exceptional, the pool and upstairs balcony were good.

The wardrobe needs replacing and the hangers were too high to use.Mainly Sri Lankan breakfasts were on offer, the only alternative was toast. The bathroom windows needed refurbishing.

This was our second stay at Jaffna Heritage, and unfortunately, we could only stay for one night this time. We love the place! It's conveniently located just a 15-minute bus ride from Jaffna city center. The rooms were neat and clean, and the hotel boasts a fantastic pool, perfect for relaxation. Above all, the hospitality and service provided by Manager Wije and Rajeevan were exceptional. We look forward to returning soon!

washroom needs an upgrade/renovation.

Excellent spread of food and fantastic service. Fantastic value for money.

Netting Cover of food spread to keep the flies away would have been good.

The breakfast was very good with selective dishes catered well! it is a typical Jaffna Breakfast with a bit of western options. The location was a bonus for us to be near to the famous Nallur Kandswamy Temple in Nallur Jaffna.

The toilet shower area can be refurbished a bit more in order to maintain the standards of the hotel. The hotel does not have any lift facilities however they helped us with carrying the luggage to our room which was well appreciated.

This hotel offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The surroundings are calm, providing a quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle. The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to assist, making the stay even more enjoyable. It’s an ideal place to unwind and recharge in a tranquil setting. Highly recommended for those seeking peace and exceptional service.

A really quiet and beautiful place, with a very good room, amazing food and a very cosy pool.
