The Lady Hill Hotel

The hotel building looks like an old historic castle which adds to the ambiance. The facilities were spotless, we loved the pool and the restaurant with Birds Eye view was superb. We got welcome drinks, the service was exceptional.

The bathroom seemed too small, but everything worked as expected.

The team was exceptional friendly and helpful, the design of the hotel is nice, the rooms are clean. Nice view over the town. As a negative would say that the rooms could benefit from a bit of refurbisment and offer a bit more breakfast options and coffee varieties like cappuccino etc

A beautiful hotel set in the hills above Galle. A tranquil haven and perfect for our visit to Galle. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The room had a great balcony, was cleaned every day and very well equipped. The staff could not be more helpful and always friendly.Breakfast was excellent as was the food in the restaurant. We highly recommend The Ladyhill hotel and look forward to returning.

We did not stay long enough

Great views of Galle, very clean and comfortable. Had BBC news on for us in the room when we arrived which was a nice touch, as British guest it shows thought. Nice quiet pool, perfect to relax and cool down in and the food at the restaurant was good with big portions (our starter was the size of a typical main). The staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming.

We were seated next to a guest smoking in the dining area which was unpleasant. Whilst it is an open roof terrace, tables are fairly close and there is no designated smoking area.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Pool was lovely and great views.

Rooms were a little tight and bathrooms small with too many mirrors, but it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Very quiet area which was lovely but you do need to get a taxi to get anywhere (or walk) The hotel need to address the pillows being unclean - everything else was spotless

Toilets/bathrooms in the rooms are too small for the quality of the rest of the property

Nice, old money hotel with cosy rooms and really affordable massage.

Very expensive place, rooms are a bit neglected and there is no double bed but rather 2 single beds just placed together. Check extra charges and taxes written in small print when booking through the platform, it accounted almost 25% of the total cost for us.

Old-fashioned and limited menu. The nicest part of the house is reserved for manager.

Breakfast was so good! I had the Sri lankan option, which exceeded my expectations. That combine with the view was sensational.

Room was very small.

The service was exceptional, especially by Dilshan and Niluka and the senior gentleman whose name I don’t remember.The lovely pool with a view was one of the highlights of our stay.

Bathrooms a bit small Difficult to get a tuk tuk from here, on one evening we had to wait ages to go to Galle Fort. But it’s OK to get one back again.

I booked this hotel for my parents and they loved the rooms, the food, the staff, etc. The staff messaged me on Booking.com when my parents arrived to let me know they got there and they would take good care of them.

Wonderful hotel. Lovely welcome. Immaculate rooms and throughout. The restaurant (at the top of the hotel with wonderful views) served lovely food and breakfast. Lovely pool too..
