Hotel Royal Bogor

Fantastic mountain view frome the room with mountain view. However if its rainy then its hard to see the mountain sometimes. But when you see it its fantastic. Very good breakfast, very good dinner and the staff cleans the room everyday. They smile and greet whenever they see me and my wife.

We did go dinner and one girl frome the staff did bring us water which we did not order and it was not bottle water. However her intension was good i assume she just didnt think and made a misstake. We tourist cant drink anything other then bottle water so please dont bring normal water next time.

The best is the location near to Bogar botanic garden.

The hotel's good year seemed to have passed some decades ago. Furnature and equipment is outdated (so on the stage of the 1980th). A lot of mildew in the bathroom (smelled really bad). Staff is hardly able to understand basic english (so not really recommended for foreigners who do not speak Bahsia Indonesia).

Don't choose it, whoever lives will regret it! I wouldn't choose it again either. Wanted to check out that night. First of all, the attitude of the service staff is very good, but this hotel gave us a very bad experience, because the room is very dilapidated, with collapsed mattresses, big pits, black sheets and quilt covers, bath towels and towels, and the room is not soundproof, and the noise pollution is serious. Didn't get a good night's rest. Why is it still 4 stars on booking, I don't understand? This hotel only looks like 1 star, but its room rate is 4 star price. very worthless

Overall, comfortable room with sufficient facilities. I really liked that spacious room that even I brought so many stuffs during my stay, it didn't feel crowded. A little trouble during my check-in that I could enter my room without the key card. But once I informed the staff, they fixed it immediately. Breakfast in the restaurant was quite okay, but the fruits were displayed directly to the sunlight so it was not fresh.

I think the common area could be improved. The lobby were quite gloomy and felt empty. While the AC in restaurant area were always turned off so that it felt hot inside. Lots of improvement needed in these areas.

Breakfast was relatively expensive, food on offer was low quality Indonesian food and same every day. Noting we have lived in Indonesia for >10 years and know its cusine ...

It is available cheaply. Right next door is the Bogor Botanical Garden.

There is no hair dryer.The sound of motorcycles at night is too loud.There are no restaurants nearby.

breakfast buffet was good, very friendly staff, big beds and rooms, easy check-in, wifi worked well. I was very thankful for the water refill!

very dirty under the bed, some plates were unclean in the breakfast room, chemical smell in the corridor, quite loud because of the traffic

Good location: access to my competition location, near to Kebon Raya, near to good food place.

Cleanliness, when we move the bed the floor under the bed is very dirty. The bathroom drain didn't work well.I booked 2 rooms, the 1st room having a problem with AC, refrigerator, television. Finally, we switch rooms the next morning.

the room was absolutely filthy there were insects and geckos around the whole room the mattresses and walls had stains on them and the ac was broken in some of the rooms.we were supposed to stay two nights however we could not however the staff were nice

Shower and worm water is very good.Wifi is very good.We used the wifi for zoom, is good.Thankyou.

Over all still good.Actualy i come there for swim,but the pool is not recomended for a dult, because near the ballrom, (i mean not confortable)Thankyou.

Location and price

The walls are dusty, floors are not that clean. Dont choose the room that is facing the city. It is noisy.
